This looks like a standard tempered steel deck i do recommend putting Dispense Justice in the SB against Giest.
I completely agree i made some changes 2 green suns in continue feedback i need to figure out a sideboard still. Thanks again
Remove the idol and put the actual Glint hawk in here. Also you want to run Mox Opal and comboe it with Glint Hawk. Inkmoth Nexus is a great alternative win condition as well.
Sorry about that I have the tendency to switch between the modern format and T2/Standard.
With galvanic blast as your only removal you will be rolled over. Not tournament quality. Lightning bolt is good for obvious reasons and Try4se is right you need the swords.
Liquimetal Coating was a great idea for this deck. I definitely see strong potential with that. It almost makes me want to use Tezzeret again and just turn my lands into 5/5 artifacts or some shenanigans of the sort. I like the idea of running U in the deck but why not W instead? It does have Lapse of Certainty if you need a counter spell and it disrupts their card draw. Also cards like Revoke Existence seem really good removing the land completely from the game. I do think playing UG is a really good choice none the less because you are using its card draw very well. and destroying land is a good answer to any deck. I enjoy it and i might play an alternate version of it some time.
Surgical Extraction is for Valakut. Acidic Slime or Tec Edge the Valakut land and remove it from the game using Surgical Extraction is the best way to shut that deck down. I do agree on Rampant Growth, it does turn the clock faster dropping the extra land on turn 2 and although explore gives me card draw the possibility of drawing into a land every time is not good enough to run it. Vengevine does seem like a good alternative but then i would have to replace something else with the shaman. 2 Mirrian Crusaders instead is possibly the right answer. When it comes to the lands i think running 3 Stirring Wildwood and 4 Tectonic Edges main board would be a better alternative keeping my basic land count high enough to the point that Sunpetal Grove does not start to slow me down. Then removing the other Tectonic Edge out of the side board. In My side board i think Timely Reinforcements is a great idea. Celestial Purge should also be in the sideboard as well. 3 of each card will be added to the list. Thank you for the feed back, I plan on running this deck at FNM and i believe it will do fantastically and will only be better thanks to your input.
Where is Adaptive Automaton!! a must in this deck if i do say so my self.
Seems like a fun tribal but i see you are missing some major components. Spell Pierce is a big part of standard along with Mental Misstep. Grand Architect doesnt seem to be doing much but be a lord in this situation and if thats the case run Adaptive Automaton and the Architect. You can then use your merfolk as mana sources. also running Liquimetal Coating could really increase the speed of Coralhelm Commander. Negate is another counterspell that you should think of running. the more counter you have the better chance of getting the Lullmage Mentor to do something. Also run Flashfreeze in your sideboard. Maybe Into the Roil instead of preordain aswell.
Be silly and run thrun as the only creature cards like dark steel plate and world queler lol
It seems pretty good although i think that running U you can use archive trap which is such a devastating move. Gideon Jura Also seems like a good call giving your opponents something they are forced to attack to save your fogs. Compare and comment on my Turbo Fog. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=221656
I could use input on my modern deck. still iffy on the side board. Thanks. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=221656
I feel that Harrow would be an excellent edition to this deck. double the land drop and your knight gets bigger.
I think that is a good call. I did want the Baby Jace because i could drop him for less but the heeps of mana the deck provides makes that argument null and void.
That was a brilliant idea thank you =)
NOTICE THE WORK IN PROGRESS!!!!
Not to bad but going back to livewire lash you may like mine. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=190249
it turns your spawns mana into a permanent source so i feel its a great card
not often maybe once every five games. It ramps up pretty fast no matter my hand really.
