Deck discussion for Exaltation of Orzhov

Just wondering why the whole deck is standard legal, and then you have 4x go for the throat in the sideboard? Ultimate price is almost identical, and costs the same.

Thanks. I switched "Go For The Throat" for "Ultimate Price".

Thats okay, it looks like a very consistent budget deck, if your thinking of playing with this competitively at your local gaming store, I would be on the lookout for cards like "ghost council of orzhova" to cap off the top of your mana curve. Maybe it would be worth dropping one of each knight and two gather the townsfolk for sign in blood so you have some means to keep your hand full. Two other cards you may want to consider are "mutilate" for it's sweeping ability to get you out of any sticky situations. And "blood scrivener" is another great cheap card that is useful for keeping your hand full.

Paying life for powerful effects is core to many BW decks, so don't forget cards that gain you life back too.

Hope this helps, if you wanted more ideas for this deck, feel free to look at my version of orzhov. (link below)

Maybe try to find a space for Nefarox?

Nerafox is awesome, but this deck has a very low curve, and he's just far too expensive. 5 Mana is the most this deck could really stretch too without really pushing it.

I like this deck. Like a lot. It seems super solid. Although I do have a few suggestions, you can take these with a grain of salt if you choose.
Cartel Aristocrat comes to mind right away. It's a great sac outlet and helps you turn it into a 2/2 unblockable every turn as well as easy blocking. Also means that you can make tragic slip lethal every turn. Off of that, skirsdag high priest would be a good choice as well. Sorin would be a great planeswalker if you're willing to spend a little bit.

I'm no sideboard expert, but if I were running this deck, mine might look something like this:

4 x Sin Collectors (takes on reanimator, mono-red, and control like a pro)
3 x Blind Obedience (against aggro decks to slow them down or decks that are slow enough that you need to aggro. Extort helps a lot too in long games.)
4 x Rest in Peace (renders reanimator and aristocrats completely useless)
2 x Grafdigger's Cage (against reanimator and flashback decks)
2 x Immortal Servitude (a lot of 2 mana creatures here.)

Hope my advice is helpful and I hope this deck works out! I'll keep following for updates.

Great advices indeed ! I was also thinking about Skirsdag High Priest (human + token) and Cartel Aristocrat (human + combo + unblockable). In the end I put some Desecration Demons because I love this card :3

Thank you for the SB hints and explanations.
