A semi tribal EDH deck that I have been upgrading whenever I get the chance. Vampire tribal is difficult because of how many good Vampires are out there with CMC over 4. Also, having ramp in R/B is very hard to come by. That is where Artifacts come into play, having Lotus Bloom and Rakdos Signet. There are many more cards that can give me a better boost, but in my circle of friends and local comic shop regulars, it is hard to find some of these cards. All I know is that I will keep working on this deck for awhile until either I get board, or a better deck pops into my head that uses Black.
At the moment, there are very few to almost no combo pieces in the deck thus far. That being said, there are better ways to get board advantage. Such as having a solid late game with so many high drop, effective creatures to play. While waiting for turn 5+, using the removal spells to sustain until then. Also, it never hurts to have board wipes such as Black Sun, Chain Reaction (for aggro/token decks), and Blasphemous Act.
