Deck Description

The key is filling the board with artifacts creatures and buffing them with tempered steel. Eventually your deck will run out of steam, because the opponent has huge creatures in play. When this happens that’s when darksteel comes into play. Basically board wipe with wrath of god, and then attack. Remember the games in it for the long run, and nothings better than Multiple tempered steelS in play. The decks weakness is exile abilities that remove artifacts, enchantment, and creatures.

Deck discussion for Darksteel

10 plains, and 4 of each tron is probably a better solution.
Most tron decks use 4 of each and adds cards to search for individual tron lands.

Well the early game depends on white man to lay down myr smith, and tempered steel. I wantEd to board rush beginning or have many artifact creatures to buff and use as blockers. I was depending on infiltration lens to draw out those lands, since I’ll have early game creatures. However the urza lands I put in are for the long term bonus since majority of the deck is Artifacts. It would just make argentum armor, Tower of Calamities, and darksteel sentinel playability better overall. So to sum it up this deck depends on playing like a white weenie deck, that can keep pressure on after you board wipe.

The absolute border for tempered steel (or wrath of god) is 12 white sources of mana.
So 12 plains and 4 urzas tower is also a thing.

Having more urza lands could allow you to explore the concept of darksteel creatures to the max.
I've always loved darksteel gargoyle which I played with jokulhaups and jokulhaups uncounterable cousin.
The gargoyle will help you if the opponent has kept a big creature in hand, waiting for you to cast it after you've swept the board.

Doomscar might also be an idea.

There is also a myr that creates white mana, which could also allow you to play with more tron.

I changed it 12 plains and added extra urza tower.

Great :)
Now I'd like the deck if I hadn't already done it.

That could replace tempered steel.

I’d use it over tempered steel If I wasn’t going to clear the board with wrath of god. I’d have to take out wrath of god to maximize its full potential, but great idea for early game swarm.

Some alternatives to wrath of god are Scourglass and All Is Dust
Both are more mana hefty, but would be good with the myr that makes white mana.
