Also see beyond, brainstorm, jtms are all great in mass poly as they allow you to put poly targets that have wound up in your hand back in your deck.

My preferred mass polymorph targets are: Emrakul, Ulamog, Iona, Frost Titan, sunblast angel, Elesh norn. The big eldrazi for obvious reasons, Iona, because by the time you pull off the poly you have a pretty good idea of what color you need to shut down to ensure your win. Frost Titan to tap down a critical element that will stop you from winning. Frost Titan + sunblast means you remove a key threat when you go off. Elesh because she'll buff everyone else you brought out and any further sapro armies you make while possibly clearing out a lot of their board.

perhaps rather then geopedes and lynxes, since you aren't running fetches, work in the aforementioned, and a bit of lifelink and maybe some dispatch.

Seems like a boros rage extractor plan should involve Immolating souleater and moltensteel dragon yea?

Hey man, theres no love or input for alt infect decks on here, so I figured I'd give you a shout. I like it but I think you are missing some of what White brings to the infect table. Here's mine: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=272134

In testing a variant of this deck on mtgo, had a game where I got liliana ultimated 3 times in one game and still won. And splashing white for doj and orings can give you the time and toolsyou need to deal with Garruk too.

So far I've only run a UB version, wanted to see how an esper version would work, but after drawing some sample hands, I definitely see where you're coming from on the mana inconsistency.

Threw together a modern version last night and boy I'm loving it. I too had some confusion about the "cauldron effects" but resolved that by just using 2 haze in the SB coming in vs day of judgement and other sweeper effects. Seems like the best way to deal with melira being removed is just grabbing another Melira though. =)

I always run vats with my pods, and other pod decks can have hard times with early vats or keeping up if you have vats.

I think cauldron haze (and a Cauldron of Souls) might be a slicker answer for protecting melira and birds then asceticism and canopy cover (trollshroud is great though). I really like the concept man.

Consider sideboard Sylvok replicas, and perilous myrs. And I'd get a throne of geth or two in maindeck.

when playing omnath and Ezuri w/elves use fauna shamans so you can ditch extraneous legends from your hand for other useful elves.

Also Bear umbra is omnath's best friend.

Avenger of zendikar would accomplish the same thing as howl of the night pack and be standard.

Well Ethan, theres 9 reindeer, 8 elves, 2 chimneys, a toy factory (mishras workshop, battered golem, splinter twin), a sleigh, some jingle bells, pear/christmas trees, its snowing, and if you put Firebreathing on your grazing gladeheart, well that's just rudolph discovering himself.

Oh and lets not forget our big bearded potbellied cyclops who punishes the naughty.
