just that swords offer a lot more comparing to cloudshift or conjurer's closet... more sustain, wins me the game or deals extra damage while i get an extra draw...

in the end what it counts is that you get your opponent to 0 and swords give me just that :)

best advice now: PLAY WITH THIS BEAST! :D

now really, the pros and cons of each card in this deck will stand out while you play against different kinds of decks ( like Aggro, Fast Aggro, Burn, Midrange, Control...etc...)

from that point you have to see if some cards are really that necessary and what are the alternatives while keeping the Esper strategy in mind!

Btw check out my U//W Deck named "photos with no flash", i think you can learn something from the deck list if you want to migrate this deck to Modern format.

i don't know... maybe 2-3 because it only gives you colorless mana.
also i recommend one less ashiok and one more aetherling, in my opinion if you get 2 ashiok's in your hand, one of them will be useless
