Well you definetly need something that will let you draw more cards. Extra draws are essential with a deck full of low mana cards.

Oh my god, I can believe I forgot Cackling Counterpart, Cryptoplasm and Phantasmal Image. I can make more Jace's Archivist and really speed things up.

This is gonna be hard to fit in. So little space.

what do you guys think swap Prosperity for Phantasmal Image, i would hate to lose a draw card?
Or maybe black vise or Laboratory Maniac for Phantasmal Image? I dont really need two alternate win cons?

Since I have so many draws and no maximum hand size I could break the cardinal rule and go over 60 cards :O

Hmm it looks like Mindbreak Trap doesn't do what I thought it did. Permanents are no longer spells once they resolve, so it can't exile them.

It only works against things like storm and cascade decks to exile all their spells on the stack. Also good against twin cast. But most decks wont be having a lot of unresolved spells on the stack at the same time.

Against most decks all It does is give me a 0 mana counter to my opponents third spell of the turn. I am thinking it is more sideboard material. I think Archive Trap, Whiplash Trap or Lethargy Trap will work better.

Swap 3 Nightveil Specter for 3 Vampire Nighthawk. and sideboard Nightveil Specter.
Nightveil Specter only mills one card, and only when it is unblocked. Most of the time you cant play the card it exiled since you wont have the right lands. It is a good side board against blue or black decks though. Against most decks Vampire Nighthawk will help you far more.

Oona's Gatewarden also doesnt do much for this deck their are alot of other one mana cards that will do much more. I would recomend Swaping your 3 Oona's Gatewarden for 3 Will-o'-the-Wisp. It will provide you with unlimted blocking potential.
(THeir are tons of other cards you could swap it for Judge's Familiar, Oona's Gatewarden, Delver of Secrets, Cosi's Trickster, Phantasmal Bear, Sage of Epityr, Jace's Phantasm, Thrull Parasite, Cloudfin Raptor, Duty-Bound Dead, Tormented Soul, Slitherhead)

No problem. It is an amazing card that can win you the game very early on with cards that generate mana.

It is a nice deck, but at over a thousand dollars it is to expensive.

Glimpse of Nature would be a good addition to my deck. So far the much cheaper Infiltration lens has been working for me to draw all the cards I need, especially how well it combos with Taunting Elf.

I have been working on a new elf deck more focused on mana ramping, and Glimpse of Nature would work perfect with it, especially with the Reliquary Tower I have in it.

I don't like, Sickining dreams for this deck, the problem is my creatures are essential and that card would destroy them. Turbulent Dreams leaves my creatures unharmed. I have been thinking of adding in Megrim though. It will kill off my opponent really fast since they will be discarding so many cards, it only needs 10 cards discarded to kill them. Within 1 or 2 turns of playing megrim my opponent will be dead. But they may have been milled by that time already, this deck mills so fast, (10 cards in my hand, 2 Jace's Archivist, and 1 Jace's Erasure and its a 40 cards milled in on turn 4 or 5, and in a another Jace's Archivist, Jace's Erasure, or windfall and its a 80 card milled on turn 5). Originally I had some high mana cards, but i removed them since the game would never go that long.

I am thinking about swapping either Minds Aglow or Prosperity for Vision Skeins it is a little less versatile but can speed up the game slightly.

Maybe I should remove 1 Laboratory Maniac and swap it for 1 Megrim for versatility. What do you think?

I swapped 2 Laboratory Maniac for 2 Black Vise, its only 1 mana. It is really powerful since so many of my cards result in my opponent starting their turn with tons of cards in their hand. (Jace's Archivist, Windfall, Minds Aglow, Prosperity, and Turbulent Dreams)

Sword of War and Peace is an amazing card against red or white, but without an unblockable creature I wouldnt play it against other colors.

vesner's journal is a little expensive an 5 mana. I can put down a Spellbook and an Ivory Tower for only 1 mana. But I think between the two Reliquary Tower and four Library of Leng, I should have no problem keeping the unlimited hand size. and with 4 ivory towers I should be gaining tons of life. I can actually get multiple ivory towers on the battlefield easily and early since I am drawing so many cards.

I didn't know if the idea would work when I first started building the deck, then I found Turbulent Dreams which allowed me to wipe my all my opponents cards off the board and Ivory Tower which generates tons of life. The combo made me almost invincible.

Then I realized Library of Leng could allow me to have no maximum hand size and also put my discarded cards back into my library in any order I choose, right before I drew them again. It means I would always have the hand I wanted to have.

I added a few side board cards to swap for Laboratory Maniac incase I dont want to self mill.

Hmmm Jace's Archivist, Mesmeric Orb and Psychic Spiral would be a nasty combo. I'm not sure if it is best for this deck but I will definetly consider it in my budget mill deck

I guess with a Psychic Spiral, Reminisce, Lich's Mirror or Quest for Ancient Secrets it would be fine.

Or even one single eldrazi like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth.

I took a look at your deck, I never used Mesmeric Orb. I will have to try it out. The only problem is that it mills myself too, it might be ok since my opponent will run out of cards first.

How has it worked out for you?

It is amazing when Isochron Scepter combos with remand, it is sad that remand has to be so expensive. You can cancel out one of your opponents spells each turn and draw a card. And if they try to remove it, you cancel out the removal spell.

You can still combo it with twincast for cheap. It is great being able to copy any of your spells or your opponents each turn repeatedly for only 2 mana.
