I agree with more counters. I'd replace Blood Artist with something that would help beef the swarm. Maybe add some equipment like some swords or what CommCech said "Runechanter's Pike".

I personally don't feel like Frost Titan is all that good so I recommend you replace him as well, but thats just from my point of view. Replacing him with something like more instant/sorceries--perhaps Vapor Snag.

I don't know what format you're trying to play in so somethings may or may not be used. Hope I helped!

I'm not sure if I'm safe to assume this, but this is meant to be a deck played in the format of Standard...correct?

If not I'll have some suggestions.

The concept of Focusing on reusing cards from the graveyard is a really good one.

Maybe these cards will provide some addition reuse or better mill.

Snapcaster Mage (Quite popular at the moment)
Noxious Revival (Just pay the two life for another Mind Funeral)
Glimpse the Unthinkable (It's too good of a card to not use/reuse)
Drowned Catacombs{Land}(I believe it works better than Dimir Aqueduct, though it doesn't work as well with Hedron Crab.)

Those are just a few of the cards to think about.

Sorry typo:

"I'd replace Strip Mine and two Mountain with four Cavern of Souls.*"

I would consider Krenko, Mob Boss if you haven't already, and Krenko's Command would also be good. I'd replace Strip Mine with and two Mountain with four Cavern of Souls.

You're only reading half of the card at that point, and by no means does Goblin Guide give a land. It trades the card for damage. Would you pay two life for 1 land? I wouldn't, not by choice that is.

"Whenever Goblin Guide attacks, defending player reveals the top card of his or her library. If it's a land card, that player puts it into his or her hand."

The key word is "if". If doesn't mean it will always have the defending player play a land. It only states that if the card revealed is a land then the player gets to put it in their hand. That risk is so minor to the amount of damage a 1st turn 2/2 could do. An additional thing to note is that you get to see the card that is revealed. Put that into your bank of memories and then you know what could be coming and prept deal with it.

I would get rid of two Szadek, Lord of Secrets and replace them by adding one more of Circu, Dimir Lobotomist and Cavern Harpy.

Reason:
Lord of Secrets costs too much and could be replaced with something that costs less and also provides the exile. Something that could be played quick and easily to make good use of that Lobotomist.

Another thing I would consider replacing is Millstone. On it's own it is a pretty bad card. You could think about adding Snapcaster Mage.

Reason:
Snapcaster Mage to give Glimpse the Unthinkable flashback for more mill. If you have the Lobotomist out then you also just removed two cards--and any similar cards--from the game, as well as milled ten cards. Snapcaster is also really nice for giving Mind Funeral flashback. Two Mind Funerals will hurt a deck quiet baddly leaving it with 8 less land at the worst.

If you don't mind looking at my deck to give me some suggestions I would greatly appreciate it!

I think thats the point of the return spells for his open artifacts. Then he plays them all over again. building and building and building until it can not only kill you but over kill you, as well as giving him the life.

The only things I see going wrong here is if someone kills all the artifacts while they're out or they just kill/exile/remove Riddlesmith. A simple thing that would mess this up would be a Surgical Extraction, which can be played at anytime.

Just put in some control and you'll be better off IMO.

I would recommend Goblin Guide, which I would replace Raging Goblin with. Same cost, has haste, but is a 2/2.

May i suggest "Vampiric Tutor"?

It's a low cost card (1 drop), Black, and its the same as "Diabolic Tutor". However you do lose 2 life as an affect from the card.

Thought i try to help >.<

i read that you need more draw and the first thing that came to mind was Visions of Beyond.

Pay one draw one
OR
(if they have more than 20 cards in their graveyard) Pay one draw three cards.

I hope i helped >.<

I was thinking the same think actually. If he could be more descriptive on how he managed to do so that would be great. Otherwise i think there is too much hype for nothing... : /

I like mill quite a bit and i also like discard, but with your deck i feel you've add some elements of both. It seems that the deck just needs more focus on which it wants to be. Since the name for it right now is "Mill" i suggest getting rid of "Liliana Vess" and replace "Jace Beleren" with "Jace, Memory Adept".

"Jace Beleren" is weak to the point that he can be lightning bolted as soon as he gets out. I've had it happen and its like a punch to the nuts...

However replacing him with "Jace, Memory Adept" makes your milling power much better. His "0" is mill a flat 10 cards, which is just bonkers to say the least. If you can't afford getting him stay with "Beleren" but if can i strongly suggest getting "Adept".

But back to the focus, you have a lot of cards in your deck that only have a 1/60 chance to get--this changes as you draw cards but still unlikely to get them if you need them.

One thing i've found out with mill is if you want to mill...you have to mill hard and fast!

Look at "Glimpse the Unthinkable", it mills 10 and cost {U}{B}. Its like having another eight "Tome Scour" if you have four in your deck.

I've been looking at all your decks and my heart jumpped when i saw you had a mill deck!

Your deck has provided some cards i had never heard of and i'm now using in my mill deck. Could you please give me some tips and tricks on my mill?
