you may want to consider artful dodge instead of teleportal. You can cast it and then flashback it for two triggers on your cyclops and guttersnipe. I've had great luck with it. My favorite is to have two cyclops, overload mizzium skin, then cast artful dodge to attack for 20 unblockable hexproof damage

Congrats, this actually looks like a tournament winner to me. No real bad match ups, just really solid midrange. Lingering souls might help, but i don't know that you need them. craterhoof behemoth might be a fun one of, or sideboard, but everything about this deck looks right to me! try competing with it!

Maybe take out trostani and council of the absolute for advent of the wurms? it would be kind of cool to see azorius charm, supreme verdict (but only as a one of) and maybe a sphinx's revelation or two make an appearance, even if it's just the sideboard

that's cool. I would also suggest some value black removal. On that line of thought, Far // Away as a one of would be sick

you could use the new divination that has one black mana to make them mill two if you wanted.

like the idea a lot, especially the angels with the divine reckoning.

actually instead of dissipate i think i may run psychic strike. the idea is to always have RIP down, so the exile part of those two is just kind of not necessary. but the psychic strike would help me to mill as well. might put in syncopate too. thanks for the feedback!

i definitely considered duress, and (even though i know it's not actually competetive) i considered soul ransom because i love that card.

although i like esper, i don't have much experience with control decks. you seem to have it down pat, could you take a look at this interesting twist on esper control? it's actually very similar, it just takes the rest in peace thing to a whole new level. http://mtgvault.com/kmk888/decks/this-might-destroy-standard/

how does generic esper control deal with that? i'm not familiar enough with control decks. i could keep it as one of those if i don't know my match up and sideboard in all the exile stuff to turn it into this deck against anyone who uses the graveyard at all. i guess terminus might help... but that wouldn't help me mill, so i would sideboard that out if i was running exile.

runechanter's pike is not the keystone, just something i thought could steal a win fairly quick. The objective of this deck is to build a competitive grixis deck and i thought that a delver with a runechanter's pike would help. if you have a better idea, i would love to hear it. do you really think trepanation blade would be better than runechanter's pike?

I really like necropolis regent with invisible stalker, but it will never work right now. you won't ever get to cast regent because the odds of you getting 3 sources of black mana aren't very good at all, and if you do that means you weren't able to cast some of the other super mana specific stuff you have in here. that coupled with things like counterflux make it so you basically will always draw some things you can't cast until after you would've liked to. i like the idea of control grixis with runechanter's pike, and any further suggestions i offer will be to that end. if that's not what you're going for, this won't help you. i'd like to see some charms in there, probably izzet and dimir. it's sad that all the global wipes are kind of clustered around white right now, as that's what this deck really needs (blasphemous act?). if you don't run many creatures, killing wave could work, but i digress. for draw power niv mizzet is very cool, but i have my doubts you'll be able to cast him. you could maybe put bane alley broker in...? charmbreaker devils could be fun, as could guttersnipe. i would recommend more black, maybe in the form of top notch removal like devour flesh, ultimate price, stuff like that.

all in all, i want grixis to be a thing again, and i think that this deck has potential but needs some work.

although... there is one thing i might tweak. The only reason you need blasphemous act is in case of the off chance you draw that and boros reckoner. And strong though that combo may be, you're really just kind of getting dead draws off blasphemous act the rest of the time. you're going to be building up such a beautiful board presence, why would you want to kill everything and give them a chance to catch up? i would only run two of those, at most.
