Thanks, a bit high on manna cost but I definitely like it. What would I take out for it?

My two cents?
you should look at cards like "Core Tapper" for adding charge counters fast. You could take out your "Everflowing Chalice"s for those. In addition, "Insurrection is a bit expensive if you want to be finishing quicker, though honestly it looks like this is not a fast deck design. I would consider more ways to slow down the other side like mass creature removal or stall cards. in red "pyroclasm" and similar card designs come to mind.
Hope this helps.

This deck is mean and I love it. Maybe sideboard a couple "Bile Blight"s? The only other thing I can think of is maybe a couple other bounce/blink spells.

Maybe remove the drakes for another madcap skills or sign in blood. The flyer seems a bit slow for how fast you want to play, it seems.

Hey there, keeping up with the spoilers of M15? "Avacyn, Guardian Angel" might help this deck as a win condition when it comes out. I am not too good at pillowfort decks myself but I like your planning ahead.

A problem with having single creatures instead of multiples is that you are going to run into them very infrequently. In fact, there is a good chance for all of them that you will not see them the entire game. Also you have too few lands. Go at least for 20 though 23 is a good number, especially for a 5 color deck. Additionally you need color fixing in order to achieve all 5 colors more easily.

As for your card selections, you are trying to do way too many things at once. Nothing supports anything else. The phrase that comes to mind is "Jack of all trades, master of none". You should look to synergize and search for complementing cards. I would suggest looking into a specific theme for a deck. If you really do intend to pursue all 5 colors in a single deck then I would point you toward looking at creatures and other spells that are all 5 colors or in some way incorporate all 5 colors into there theme.

If you want pure beatdown then I would suggest green and red to be the colors you should focus on.

I wish you luck in your deck building and hope I have been of some help.
Lastly, you should look at others decks to find ideas you like. You could expand on a theme that you see or even take their themes and tweak them enough to really make them your own.

-Cheers

You are not supposed to be proliferating in this deck. You want to remove the vanishing counters instead to get more of them. Think of something that eats counters instead. That, or look at the other decks people have made with him for inspiration. Just search his name in the deck search function.

I could be wrong and not see what I am supposed to but in any case I hope I cleared that misinformation for you.
My final advice is to keep on with this deck since Chronozoa is one of those strange cards.
-Happy deck building

The new cards are certainly difficult to be brought up to speed with deck ideas like this one. Umbral mantle and an infinite mana engine will do this for them but it is a bit of a set up for just that win condition unless you are using the zombie that drains for 1. I tried tinkering around myself to use them but they are just too slow.

Certainly a cool idea though.

I am so glad that this kind of deck is finally getting top-spot love. Might I suggest some sort of evasion for the wake thrasher though? I do agree with Irishbrand's idea of fling but in color you could put in an Aqueous Form or something.

Here is my take on the untap deck archetype if you are interested. Its not the best but it has some interesting ideas :

Like Guilder Bairn. Untapping for doubling counters is fantastic. Especially with that new plainswalker in those colors. Or Jace if so desired. Because it does not care what kind of counters it doubles.

Oh yeah, and that new red blue Plainswalker. Ral Zerak or something like that.

Personally, I love stuff like this. But get rid of the Creepy doll. Its just bad. Replace with maybe a wheel of fortune, faithless looting, or a gamble. Or hey, even a "soldier of fortune" for that deck shuffling goodness.

Yeah, most likely. I guess it was an experiment to see what could be done with it.

Definitely give some thought to thinning your land a bit though. Maybe swap some of the islands for breeding pools. Additionally I agree with the subtraction of a single (or maybe two) Wild Defiance for another one cost buff spell. Just my two cents.

A quick search of zero cost artifacts found me Zuran Orb. Put out for 0 and has the ability for 0 sacrifice a land and gain 2 life. Fits pretty good if things get stalling until later in the game for whatever reason

I like it, maybe fill it in with some other zero cost artifact creatures for defense just in case and I think are golden. (aside from the land thing that Freethescruff said above)

Also shifting wall would be nice as an artifact creature which is effectively zero cost for Ad Nauseam since it is X cost.

(edit) I just thought of something. Maybe a pithing needle or some cheap removal would be good since your opponent gets to get search for anything first. Probably picking a pithing needle if they catch on to your deck idea. Though definitely a great idea, especially against people for the first time.
