This is my monoblack tester deck for standard. I like to play it against any other deck I've put together because I like to think this is a nice midrange style deck for the environment.
The key to this deck are the anti creature and anti planeswalker cards. The deck uses corrupt or the Gray Merchant as a finisher on turn eight... or so. Basically, don't miss a land drop and this deck can keep up with the best of them. Sideboarding is a matter of metagame and I think my sideboard reflects lots of white/black planewalker decks and quite a few monocolor creature devotion decks.
