Deck Description

Okay so i love angels and demons..ive only been playing for a short time but i love the game and have already become the best at school and am having loads of fun trading and playing. Right now its a build up of cards ive been lucky enough to receive. Any thoughts on how i can make this deck better would be greatly appreciated!

How to Play

Normally i sit back as i gain life and mana and putting out what i can until my big demons and angels can rain down upon my enemies. Sanguine Bond helps me drain my enemy as gain momentum, though the Rams and Soul Warden are neither angel nor demon, i just pretend the humans are there for worship and sacrafice. Congregate and Sanguine bond is a combo i tend to use. And Avacyn with Worldslayer can be hell for my opponent as i use my Rune-Scarred Demons, Diabolic Tutor/Revelation, and Ring of Three Wishes to get what i want as i sit back and build up life and defense.

Think bout what you want your deck to do then focus on that aspect. Having more then 60 cards and a lot of single cards makes your deck unreliable, although I understand these are the cards you have. Think of what you want the deck to do then we can focus the deck towards that direction, let me know I'm glad to help

Gotcha, the only reason i have singles is cuz thats all i have XD but that makes alot of sense :) i stil have alot of angels and demons im nooot using that arent as rare and abilities arent as good but are cheaper..i brought it down to 63 still deciding on what i wanna take out..i really wanna be able to gain alooot of life quickly while i set up my powerful creatures and thats what i normally am capable of doing. All help and suggestions are welcome..ive beaten all my friends but i want a more competitive pace without getting rid of my angels and my demons.

Its a really good deck I like the premise as the others stated above I would drop the count to 60. As a standard set up most people go with 24 land and 36 non land to help narrow the selection process. Since you like congregate and sanguine bond so much let those card be your focus. Try cutting back some of the more costly angels and demons and put in a set a doom blades and unmakes for removal and diabolic tutors for retrieval. I would put in a full set of the nyx fleece rams, soul wardens and other smaller one or two drop creatures which would go perfectly with congregate and help you get to dropping those fatties!!! Next I would drop all of your artifacts except the chalice and elixers to create a faster tempo, along with your exalted creatures, aegis angel, and harvester of souls. This should speed up your deck immensely and allow you for faster life gain/ drain. These are just my suggestions I'm sure what ever you chose to do will be the right thing remember MTG is about having fun with the cards, and not so much serious competition lol. Black & white is the best color combination keep at it your doing great!!!! :)

remember if you ever need any help or advice don't hesitate to ask. Unfortnatley not every one on this site is respectful or tactful in the way they go about "helping" new players. Just keep at the good work and try diffrent deck types and combos to get the most out of Magic :)

I am also new to Magic, been playing for about 2 months. I got some really good suggestions from some people on here, and I think you have gotten some good information here. The one thing I have learned so far that I can pass along to you, is that theme decks are fun to put together, but pick one or two cards you really like and build your deck around that. Look at the abilities of the creatures you are using and then find the instants, enchantments, and sorcery spells that will work with them. My Angel and Demon deck quickly became an Angel and Beast deck which is mostly beasts. Take a look at it if you would like, http://www.mtgvault.com/rhody88/decks/mono-white/. Good luck!!
