thanks for the feedback man! I feel you on the Consecrated Sphinx, he is probably a little bit excessive. I just like that he's a big flying beater, and is safe from Dismember, but my true beaters will probably do the job just fine. 3 O-rings would be ideal, but I really want 3 Angelic Destinies to ensure that my Geist/Stalkers are getting through with some serious damage. I'll try and figure out what I could drop for another Ring. I'm also a huge fan of Swiftfoot Boots, but they just won't fit in here. Besides, I can always bring a dead Snapcaster back with Sun Titan (who I kind of want to run 2 of.) Thanks again for the input! It has definitely helped me out!

Shit here's the link haha and one more comment for you!! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=237962
Would you mind giving my T2 U/W deck a look? I'm new to the format, and any thoughts would help me out a great deal!
I like this deck quite a bit. I'm just a sucker for U/W I guess, especially blue. Mmmm Gideon and his lackeys are so chill!
Oh, and if you "like" a comment (like I just did to Mercedes' comment ^), it also adds 1 "like" to the deck's total number of "likes". Wow, that sentence had the word "like" in it way too many times haha
I'm aware of the legality! But as you said, he's running Counterspells! He MUST PUT TREACHERY IN INSTEAD OF GOD-AWFUL MIND CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
I could really use some help on fine-tuning my standard U/W deck, if anyone would care to take a look! I want to take it to a tournament or two, so input would be really appreciated!!! http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=237962 Give it a peek!
soooo...Innistrad..... Visions of Beyond? :-o
And I don't know if it's been said before, but if you want a 3 cost counter (Cancel), which are pretty eh, at least trade them up for Dissipate. It's the same exact thing but it also exiles the countered card, which makes it slightly more helpful.
No, the lower price give or take $5-10 bucks (usually less than the lower price) is what you should normally go by. The middle price is ALWAYS way too high, and the high price is just comical.
You didn't trade Mind Control for Treachery yet!!! Seriously look it up! Your mind is gonna be blown.
Lightning Greaves > Swiftfoot Boots in your case too, since you're not going to be targeting your own guys anyway. And I would take out the Elixirs as well. They hardly do anything here to help other than gain you 5 life, but if you had better cards in their place you wouldn't need life gain because you could have already won instead! I hope all of this helps, I really enjoy Illusion tribals!
Oh and some card advantage, Brainstorms, Ponders, Ancestral Vision, etc
As has already been explained before, Stonehewer's ability does NOT target the creature you're attaching to. You've gotta read all of the comments, man. I do agree about using Phantom Warriors - since being unblockable by default is awesome - but fuck Phyrexian Metamorph, when you can just use the cheaper and more fitting Phantasmal Image (which he has in here.) Honestly though, I would just drop the white, and the expensive 5 CMC Stonehewer, and the Quests, and the Whispersilks. This is a unique idea but you can run an Illusion tribal much more effectively without cluttering it up with all of that. Just put in Phantom Warriors and more counterspells (Counterspells, Mana Leaks), and I think you'll be running much more smoothly.
Best*** What's the deal with all of the one-ofs, by the way? I know you mentioned it in your deck description, but you're going to have some weird draws...
but I agree that there should be an alternate win condition, such as a powerful planeswalker/Eldrazi perhaps
the purpose of the lands is to deal a bunch of damage with Valakut..
god I like this deck
shit I didn't see this comment my bad hahahah now I feel like an asshole
Guard Gomazoa didn't save you at an Innistrad pre-release, because that card isn't in Innistrad. LOL
