Deck Description

Using Den Protector as a poor mans Snapcaster Mage in a Bant Control deck. Still not satisfied with Dragons in a control deck. They eat up too many slots which could otherwise be used for more productive stalling mechanisms.

How to Play

Very similar to my U/W Control deck where Silkwrap and Nullify are great early and just as effective as Silumgar's Scorn in the sense where early creatures can be the bane of control decks existence. The exception is how this deck and U/W Control are less vulnerable to Crackling Doom and Stormbreath Dragon and there are no spells which require a dragon for its optimal use. I'm betting Kiora, the Crashing Wave is positioned well in this control shell since it can effectively win any mana race in the mirror and can completely neutralize your opponents' best creature from turn to turn and least we forget Kiora's ultimate pretty much puts the game away. Again I'm giving Narset Transcendent a chance here since there are only 4 creatures, but those 4 creatures do lower Narset's +1 hitting by roughly 2%, depending on how many lands/creature you have in play. Anticipate is great early and late. Best way to get those mana drops.
