Deck Description

A Modern-legal deck focused around Jeskai Ascendancy and Sprout Swarm.
There are probably better cards to play here (land), I'm mostly just making this list with what I have available.

-2x Fog
-1x Wee Dragonauts

+2x Sylvan Caryatid
+1 Serum Visions

How to Play

Jeskai Ascendancy + Sprout Swarm = Infinite

With Ascendancy and Sprout Swarm either mill everyone with Altar of the Brood, or make everything huge with Jeskai Ascendancy's 1st ability.

How it works: Have at least 3 creatures and 3 land. With Ascendancy in play, tap 2 land and 3 creatures to cast Sprout Swarm with buyback. Ascendancy will trigger causing everything to untap (and get +1/+1). Tap your now 4 creatures and 1 land to cast Sprout Swarm again.

Deck discussion for Junk Ascendancy

Nice deck. If you want to be more competative, try cutting unnecesaries like the dargonaughts for more things that will speed or ensure your win. For example,
-3 dragonaught
-2 fog
-3 farseek

+2 pyromancer
+3 serum visions
+2 remand
+1 win con? maybe another alter... Still need a way to fetch it for your win though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did pick up another Serum Visions this weekend, so I will add that. However I don't have any more Remand sitting around atm.
I don't think this deck (in its current state) could run without Farseek. Expedition Map, maybe Explore, would be my only alternative since I need to have W/U/R/G available for the combo to work and Farseek can grab those for me fairly early.
After a play-test, once Ascendancy is out and I can cast Sprout Swarm I can use Ascendancy's 2nd ability and 'cycle' through my deck until I find what I need (Altar). It ends up working better than I thought.

If you can get them, I think Birds of Paradise would be a better fit than Sylvan Caryatid. It may not have hexproof like the Caryatid, but it does come out a turn earlier and has flying, which works nicely with the Ascendancy's +1/+1 triggers.

I really like Young Pyromancer's synergy with Sprout Swarm (more free creatures to convoke with). Monastery Mentor does practically the same thing.

Impact Tremors and / or Purphoros, God of the Forge is another possible win condition.

Fling / Soul's Fire also works off the Ascendancy's +1/+1 triggers.
