I considered them at first, but since I have no way to sacrifice them, I only get one draw/land when I cast it with 2 mana which I think would slow me quite a bit. Also I like the fact that I get the myr from Origin Spellbomb. I havn't ran into situations yet where I couldn't get that 5life from the scroll, but they are bound to happen. So maybe I could consider one or another of your suggestion over the scroll. Thanks!

Rancor would be good indeed. Only reason it got cut (for now) is the price :D I am rooting for low budget decks! Especially when they are as unstable as this one =) But thanks for the comment!

I have sacred wolf, but Thrun is mythic rare and as one, cannot be put into a pauper deck (pauper is a format where you must build a deck by only using cards rated as "common" in atleast one set)

The problem with adding "generals" is that this is a pauper deck which point is to have creatures with hexproof. I could add creatures without hexproof and more power, with some instants to give hexproof, but then enemy would get a chance to kill my creatures. By having creatures with hexproof I can focus all my efforts on getting them bigger.

I'm glad they did =) otherwise I would have gone with Oakenform. PS: this deck still needs alot of work :/

You got some nice combos here. Seems like a solid deck all in all =) I would suggest Silence over Render Silent. And one combo I really like is Silvergill Douser + Merfolk Thaumaturgist for some killing action. It works wonders in my pauper merfolk deck. Wojutx, Rootbound Crag would ofc be alot better choice than guildgate. The problem is I'm trying to keep my budget low =)

TheChurchlsHere, I was thinking about adding it to the mix since I took out a few creatures with damage abilities. Guess now that someone else mentioned it too I need to find a place for it. Thanks.

It's good to see someone using Telepathy, it's a solid underused card. Deck seems pretty good all in all. Never underestimate the Mind funeral :)

Since I don't have to worry about life gain, I wanna choose instant buffs over long term buffs. Then again I do like Forced Adaptation and maybe there's something about it I havn't figured out yet. Thou shall enter the sideboard.

True that blessing would do some good, perhaps I'll add it up =) And I hate infect cause it feels like cheating, compared to normal damage. It doesn't care about life gain, works twice as fast and cripples blocking creatures. Of course this has been noted when making infect creatures, as they are higher in mana. But all in all infect just feels like cheating to me :S

I havn't thought about how to deal with infect tbh. I guess it'll just be race against infect, burn and mill. Glad you like the deck. Budget is always my number one concern =)

Maybe Jace's Erasure? Since you got some draw.

I'd definently put Delver in. Infernal Plunge works nicely with brimstone volley. I wouldn't add battle hymn since it only gives you red and you don't have enough creatures to gain maximum potential (unless Talrand starts working early on). And I don't think you need krenko's command as long as you got Talrand.

Well it's true that 1 cmc cards lose their value after you get Electromancer on the table, which idealy happens on turn 2. Then again if you don't have both mana and electromancer at the start it starts off real slow. It's your call ofc. Can't really say one way is better than other here.

I like the idea, that It's not full burn, but mix of control and burn. The draw cards are always good, but I am surprised that you have no 1 mana cost cards, except in the sideboard waiting for approval i guess. I'd add atleast something with 1 mana cost in there, since otherwise you can cast more than 1 spell per turn _earliest_ on the 4th turn, and with a deck that has cards that should be used on opponents turn, it sounds kinda risky. I'd prefer Unsummon over Cyclonic rift, mostly because of the price, but also for it's 1mana cost. It must be pretty rare to get to cast that overload cost on r/b deck. Then again if you wanna hold on to Cyclonic you should add infernal plunge from your sideboard. If you worry about your budget, you should add Izzet Guildgate. Especially cause if you drop it on your first turn the tapped thing doesnt matter at all in your deck. All in all I like this deck :) All the creatures and the artifact make a perfect foundation for a spellcaster deck, which can focus on either control, burn or both in this case. Keep it up!

Thanks for pointing out tanglewurm! totally missed it :) luckily it didn't have too much going for it in the deck, since I have trample on everything. But huge blunder on my part nontheless :D
