take out thunderous wrath and add Skullcrack so you have a quick answer to spells like Thragtusk and Sphynx's Revelation if you dont have a counterspell. Lifegain is the bane of this type of deck.

Esper is Blue, White, Black. Mono-White means that there are ONLY white spells in a deck.

theres no animosity, I dont care what you run in your deck. I just think those are two poor choices and the geist is cheap for CMC but too expensive as you build board presence.

really? you would rather Essence Scatter an Angel of Serenity or a Thragtusk than Dissipate it? Dissipate, Render Silent, and Syncopate are all better than Essence Scatter.
as for Electrickery, its terrible. seriously. Homing Lightning is MUCH better, at 4 mana, its more expensive, obviously, but you can use it to take out WAY more things.

also, Im confused about Fettergeist. why do you have a creature that forces you to pay for other creatures? As many instants and sorceries as you have, you could think about guttersnipe. His damage bonus could be the thing you need to get past those scary, scary souls..

tough to call it counterburn with 2 counter magic spells....sideboard Electrickery, mainboard Negate or even Dissipate or Render Silent

6 months is NOT very soon....play your innistrad cards, learn the metagame, make adjustments just like everyone else is doing now with a new set release.

restore the peace is bad. it lets damage through. a better failsafe should your detain fail is Riot Control. its the same CMC, same speed, and a better card for what youre trying to do. fog + lifegain? yes please.

Also, I plan on running COnjuror's Closet with my Lavinia.....its pretty good.

not automatic. any instant speed removal doesnt even let the cycle begin.

good luck with your deck checks with a banned card in a modern build....

trade Ponder for Index....shouldnt affect the deck too much, and it makes it Modern legal.

I dont think Rubblebelt Raiders will see play until Hellrider leaves the format, its just not as good. as for putting Champion of Lambholt in this deck I may try to find room for 2, and also 2 Nearheath Pilgrims.

your spell cost is so low that by the time turn 5 hits if you havent won or lost, youll be sitting around with extra untapped lands. drawing a card in their endstep could be huge.

-4 Vexing Devil
+2 Golgari Charm
+2 Grim Backwoods

Vexing Devil is ONLY good early game, and even then, only mediocre. You have no obvious way to deal with fliers, and Lingering Souls is a relevant card, Golgari Charm deals with it nicely. Grim Backwoods allows you to sac creatures (which you already planned on doing with Varolz) in order to gain card advantage. Both things serve you better than 4 early damage, or a 4/3 whos just gonna get popped turn 2. jm2c

lmao are you serious? a troll? My comment was NOT negative in any way, and in fact, simply an informative comment. maybe youre just a negative person who thinks everyone on the internet is out to get them. I guess maybe you read my "good luck" as sarcasm? it wasnt. I actively encourage all the players around my area, insofar as to give them booster packs(mostly the kids), help them build decks to be competitive, and generally try to grow the game in a region with only a few players. I never claimed great knowledge on the legacy format, I just know that turn 1-2 wins in legacy are not uncommon, making a turn 4 win weak. I never even said your deck was BAD, just that the only format it was legal in its too slow for.

maybe I caught you on a bad day, but I dont feel like my comment deserved that reaction.

the only format this deck is legal in is Legacy....and a turn 4 win in legacy is about 3 turns too late....Good luck.
