Blood Artist and Guttersnipe could help here, though for guttersnipe to be the most effective, you could cut a couple creatures to add Krenkos Command,

Wild Defiance does not have the same effect as Livewire lash......they share a trigger, but nothing else.

also, -2 Fencing Ace +1 Knight of Glory +1 Knight of Infamy.

I tried the ace, and once they get blockers, you dont get through. the knights have built in evasion. much better after about turn 2-3

-4swamp
-4 plains
-2 Servant of Nefarox
-2 Duskmantle Prowler
-2 Leap of Faith

+4 Cathedral of War
+4 Hallowed Fountain
+4 Invisible Stalker
+2 Detention Sphere

These changes will make you faster, and more effective. Servant of Nefarox is garbage, and Duskmantle Prowler is WAY too expensive, when you should be dropping Sublime at that point in the game.

Invisible Stalker is more expensive than Tormented Soul, but much more difficult to remove., and also removes your need to make flyers for evasion.
D-Sphere is great for removing a pesky blocker (or pile of tokens) for the killshot.

if youre running white, you should be running 4x Curse of Exhaustion. Not only is it better than the CoP's, but it is also searchable through the Curse of Misfortunes, which CoP is not.

theres a lot of stuff going on....is she a proficient player, and this is just her first FNM, or is she a total newbie? . the deck seems like it should be simple enough to navigate, for a seasoned player, but a new player might struggle with soulbond, populate, ect. I introduced girlfeinds to the game, but its tough to grasp the mechanics right away. I used Infect to introduce new players, because it was a nice, simple concept. If shes a total beginner, My suggestion would be Red. Burn makes it easy to win, and winning is fun.

either way, Good luck .

I disagree. Thragtusk can be handled by a 3/3 token just fine, as can his beast replacement. Token overrun would work well against Thrag, especially with a Krenko added to the mix, doubling the goblin token count each turn.

in addition, I would run at least one copy of Krenko. especially if you do add the Rally. the ability to drop krenko and double your goblin count the next turn is something that will be helpful.

-4 Thatcher Revolt/ +4 Goblin Rally. the GR has a more expensive mana cost, but you dont have to sac your tokens at the end of turn, so the trade off is better.

I dont know EDH, but I know that with Trostani, being able to Miracle off an Entreat the Angels would disgust most opponents. I would run it :)

-2 chromatic lantern/ +2 ANY burn.

I dont think this deck has enough instants or sorcery to utilize snipes. and the ones you do have are very situational, leaving your snipes abilities dependant on the opponent. Id focus on snipe/burn, with a few counters.

I think it can be helpful in situations...better as a sideboard though. Id rather have a Terminus in its place, because it will be helpful every time. Reforge really only helps in situations where you are able to dump most of your hand before you draw it. if you have to drop 7 to get 7 its no card advantage, but if you drop 0 to draw 7 its great....i think its too inconsistent, and your deck runs too expensive.

DoJ only works for non-standard decks, as it is M12, but Planar Cleansing is a budget rare, you should be able to pick up for $1 or less at the local card shop. just be careful with that one if you run artifacts or enchantments.

-1 Chromatic Lantern, -1 Gilded Lotus/ +2x Entreat the Angels (lotus is too expensive, you should be playing angels with your 5 drops, not mana ramps. the lantern seems unnecessary here, unless im missing something...
-2 Divine Reckoning/+2 Day of Judgement or Planar Cleansing (your creatures are not destroyed when Avacyn in on the board, so why let them keep one?)

My Izzet deck was having some problems with aggro too. I added Izzet Staticcasters, and they do well against the smaller guys. have a look:

there are very few cards that do what Captain does. Tamiyo is a tap lock, basically detaining a creature, wheras Captain has the tap OR untap permanent ability. I am using him for his UNTAP. the only other card I could find in standard was Ghostly touch, and that requires an attacker...something Defenders dont do well o_O
