I see no reason to play both. Duress and Inquisition of Kozilek should probably be at least sideboarded, as they take away early-game options and way to get rid of your threats (Lightning Bolt, Naturalize).

Jotun Owl Keeper and Dovescape are also ways of making a large number of Birds.

This is probably a really sad suggestion, bu Heroes' Demise is really powerful in this format.

Crab Umbra with Harabaz Druid?

Entomb and Buried Alive will get you partway there; maybe False Memories could be a way to get the required pieces, Cephalid Vandal in the long term, or Magus of The Bazaar/Bazaar of Baghdad (although price rules the latter out!) to multidredge, then discard what's left in your hand until you have what you need.

Uktabi Drakes are good in a way that Duress is good - just because you can play it doesn't mean you should.

Yes. The key is that the text for Equip states "attach to target creature", which does not exclude equipped creature as a target. You could also use Umbra Mantle, which is slower, or Lightning Greaves, although that would require a second creature. Maybe you could find some more Cephalids to make the deck more reliable.

Why? They shrink with Doran in play, they don't interact with Petroglyphs, and they are expensive if you want to keep them alive.

If you can disrupt the deck's mana base by countering the Lotus or Mox on turn one (Spell Pierce, Annul, Mana Tithe), then remove the key creatures such as Zirilian, you should be able to keep up the pressure with an agressive deck. Alternately, there's only 8 dragons and 11 threats in total, none of which are meant to last more than a turn, so holy days until you can gain an upper hand could do it.

I'm sure there's a way to go infinite with the Patron if you play Amulet of Vigor...Meloku, the Clouded Mirror should do it.
What about playing Roil Elemental, seeing you'll landfall every turn?

Flashbacks CAN be countered. The only difference is that you are playing them from your graveyard instead of your hand. You can't do anything about Dredge though, as it is a static ability.

I'm guessing you mill-animate some Narcamoeabas, sack them to flashback Dread Return, giving you three Zombies, reanimating a Flame-Kin Zealot and swing in for...14. I suppose you can pop the Narcamoeba, Zealot and a Zombie to do the trick again, giving you three 3/3's with haste and two 4/4's; if you landfall a Bloodghast on that turn, you have your lethal, but this all relies on you dredging all this stuff of two creatures you may or may not get.
Look into playing Cephalid Illusionist/Shuko/Sutured Ghoul, it's a much more effective way to achieve the same end.

Nice deck - what about adding in Tel-Jilad Stylus to shuffle your Dragons back into your library before they die?

Whispersilk cloak can be a bit of a gamble sometimes, as you can't target your creature either. I'd probably lean towards playing Canopy Cover.
What about playing Nature's Spiral to return your Quest for the Gemblades? Beastmaster Ascension may also be useful in the deck.

Thanks for the feedback. I left in two black myojins, as they reduce the opponent's options and cripple post-wog recovery, and only two Day of Judgments as them regenerating is usually worse than some Knights biting the dust.

What about playing Scarecrone to reanimate your creatures? Arcbound Reclaimer is not that great.
