I feel like a troll, having posted this so many times while I've been looking over infect decks, but; Virulent swipe is a much better choice than Vampire's bite. It rebounds for free and gives your creature the same +3 as well as deathtouch.

I'd use Virulent Swipe over Vampire's bite. Deathtouch is much better than liefelink in an infect themed deck, you don't have to pay an overpriced kicker cost, and it rebounds for free.

I'd drop the swarmlord and Hydra as well. They're really not worth their effects for what they cost. If anything, they're going to sit in your hand for a few turns and ultimately slow you down.

Skerry has the right idea. You may want to consider things like Verdant catacombs and Golgari Rot Farm if you're not concerned about keeping it standard.

Try to get your hands on Virulent Swipe. It's a nice spell for any infect deck that uses black.

Virulent Swipe is a pretty strong card for any infect theme using black. It rebounds for free.

Immaculate Magistrate and Timberwatch Elf would add to your stompy/aggro theme as well.

If anything, a Genesis Wave in an Elf deck would only come back to haunt you. Most, if not all elves are cheap, so you'd only be doing your opponet(s) a favor. If you want a fast accelerator to pump out elves, use Glimpse of Nature, Elvish Vissionary, and Nissa Revane. Hell, you could even use skullclamps and Wirewood Herald's.

Priest of Titania with Seeker of Skybreak and/or Wirewood Lodge is a far better mana engine than the Sentinel/Druid combo. The Priest will also function on her own if for some reason you can't pull the other cards to make it work.

Removal is always going to be a problem when you're playing against mot people. If you play against a lot of removal, you could try adding Regrowth or Noxious Revival (use a playset of each in really extreme cases) to bounce those creatures back to your hand.

Try adding a Priest of Titania for a solid mana accelerator. With a Wirewood lodge or Seeker of Skybreak, you can really abuse the Warcaller's kicker effect.

Oh, Thornweald Archer is another good elf for dealing with fliers. :D

Throw in Jagged-Scar Archers in place of the tower if you're concerned about flying creatures.

Uh, why isn't Rite of Consumption in the deck if the deck is based around it? o.O

I completely agree with wanting to build an original deck, but Hypergenesis is just disgusting and really hard to overlook. :x

Drop four Swamps for four Verdant Catacombs. They'll trigger Death's Shadow faster and they allow you to thin your deck(note that the lands you pull with it do NOT come into play tapped)

If you have something in play like a Platinum Angel, would going into negative health add to Death's Shadow's effect?

Actually, I just learned that the artifact lands are considered non-basic, so you can only have four copies of each. D:

Yeah, the vivid lands can definitely slow you down over time. =p

Just to be a thorn in your opponents' ass, you should add a Platinum Angel, maybe a Lich's Mirror as well. XD
