I've been running elves for quite a long time, a combination that I find works wonderfully is using wirewood channeler to generate mana, then use staff of domination to untap and tap wirewood channeler to generate infinite mana of any colors you want. You can also use it to draw as many cards as you want, tap as many creatures as you want, and by throwing in wellwisher, you can gain as much life as you want. Try it out, works great.

I think you mean Bloodchief Ascension + Mindcrank. Also throw in a Ghoul Caller's Bell and no matter how many people you're playing against, they will all die.

I do have steel shaper's gift, and stonehewer giant. I decided to go with a more lock down style deck with some late game beat down and minor mana ramp. I was going to put stoneforge mystic in, but theyre hard to get a hold of, so I went with the giant instead.
Ill think about some of the flicker stuff to protect avacyn, but I do have hexproof equipment for her as well

Hmmm, skullclamp never thought of that. I think ill add it to the deck. I was also thinking of throwing in bitter ordeal to rip apart their deck from the inside

replace the quests with Seedborn Muse. Seedborn muse not only untaps your creatures, but all your permanents.

because the deck isn't focused on casting the dragons. The deck is focused around getting the Outcasts and Scutemobs out early game and land ramping enough to allow their abilities to pop in the early part of the game. Turn 3 or 4 and just have fun.

I think this is an interesting deck, however, one major fall back is that you leave yourself open to a lot of things. Soren's Thirst for example. Loss of life isn't counted as damage and thus can drop your life total to below 1. I would recommend Witchbane Orb. Give yourself hexproof.

Not sure I understand the purpose of Squee's Toy or the bulwark. They might keep the few creatures you have alive a little longer, but there are better things you could use. Like quicksilver daggers for example.

Add font of mythos into this deck. Wanna see them draw to death, that'll accomplish it quickly. Also throw in Words of Waste with Megrim and Liliana's Caress. That way when you draw, you can pay mana and make them discard which will trigger off Megrim and Liliana's Caress. Also to protect yourself, maybe Ensnaring Bridge and One With Nothingness. Once you get Ensnaring Bridge out, you can use One with Nothingness to discard your hand so no creatures with power higher than 0 can attack you.
I only say this because you have no creatures in this deck to protect you.

I'm going to pile on the band wagon and add a little to this...frankly...that's not a real deck. If all you're doing is customizing your hand to whatever you want, then it's cheating. Hell if I wanted to do that with my extirpate deck, I could set it up with 3 chancellors of the spires, 2 dark rituals, a swamp and a haunting echoes and watch my opponent cry when I rip apart their deck on my first turn...but that would be mean, and cheating.
Take your time to build an actual deck, and play with actual rules, and not nerd rage when someone runs you over with a 100/100 taunting elf with trample and infect. (just an example)
Rules make the game fun. If you want to find loop holes, or exceptions to the rule that break the universe, fantastic, go for it. But otherwise leave the cheating out of the game.

Interesting, however I can say, I wouldn't find this confusing at all. Pretty simple to follow. It's probably more fun to play against than it is to read about.

This deck isn't so much as meant to be confusing, as it is meant to cause complete chaos. Which it has. Nothing worse than continually holding out the game until everyone has a crap ton of stuff on the field, and then cast scrambleverse because of Wild Evocation, and then having another scrambleverse go off because of omen machine..just watch how many people rage quit. It's hilarious.

I thought of using it, but the mana cost is too high to really merit using it in the deck. Even though the proliferate in the deck would help boost it up some, Mind Unbound would be a late game move, I was looking for things that would accelerate this faster

There were 4 knowledge pools in it before, but it ended up back firing so I took them out. Good thinking though, looks like youre on the same page as me in my creativity.

if you're looking for creatureless mill, then may I suggest using blue black and using the Helm of Obedience/Leyline of the Void combination. I did up a deck using this combination, if you put dark rituals into the deck, then it can be a possible turn 1 win.

well I ran some test hands for up to 5 turns, and as best as I can tell, it'll run perfectly fine. But as with most decks, it's all on luck of the first hand. If you can get the joiner adept in the first hand, then you're pretty much set to run the deck quite well.

A friend of mine built a deck similar to this, however, imo, his is better. You have no mana accel. Maybe throw in some dark rituals to help get the sanguine bond and exquisite blood out earlier. Also using some blood pets for first turn drops and an additional 1 black mana on another turn could help get them out the gate faster as well. Also sacrificing the blood pet for the 1 black mana would trigger off the blood artist.

I don't play competitively. I play casual just with friends. We don't ban the use of any cards. We like to have full reign over the designs of our decks.
