I like Simic in theory, but all I see online is an intense counterfest that all use the same 1/2 a dozen cards. This is my try at a different kind of Simic. Im loving the possibilites with the new Quickling. It's a great creature without its added cost. But making a cards weakness into a strength is a good way to add value to cards. Most of the creatures have a ETB effect. I would love to hear suggestions as Im new to magic. I am also proud of its $ cost and average CMC. Bear in mind that i got Yavimaya Coast ina a 2015 draft with my buddies and this deck becomes at most a $16 investment. The key to playing this deck is to keep mana back to flash out creatures or instants. Fog, Giant Growth and Ruse can foil most opponent moves. Im considering Military intelligence, Invisible Stalker, and Aqueous Form if cards dont work like they do in my head.
