The only bad thing is that some of your best cards get minimal benefit from Heartless summoning(i.e. geralf's messenger and nighthawk). And heartless summoning makes you gain one less life and draw one less card with disciple of bolas. I like the idea, but I think there are a lot of other cards that take more advantage out of heartless summoning (like griselbrand if you an afford him or reaper from the abyss or lord of void,etc.)

This is why I have Mikaeus, and Wolfir Silverheart here. Also Desecration Demon is what I hope to use Disciple on after a combat phase it would gain me 6 life and 6 cards still. I'm running green cause of mana fixing, and the fact that I can hopefully keep my creatures around despite o-rings and such. Though I like the idea of Griselbrand I see two issues, he is expensive x2 (price, and mana) I wanna keep the deck still kind of playable without having crypt ghast or heartless. I guess I could still technically drop heartless in place of more nighthawks and some kind of 1-2 drop that can keep me around til I get crypt ghast and then Mikaeus or something. Part of it isn't that I'm hoping for the most out of each creature it is more about being able to throw down a ton of otherwise kind of mana heavy/ mid-range creatures really fast and soon. Turn 2 Heartless, Turn 3 ghast+desecration demon, turn 4 mikaeus+wolfir/(desecration demon+ disciple of bolas) turn 5 who knows.

Probably true, but never the less I feel like trying this out. I have the cards to do it minus 1-Mikaeus.
idk i think its a pretty kool idea. heartless summoning is a way underrated card imo. i think it just hasn't been brought to its full power like many thought it would have been.http://cardgametalk.wordpress.com/
