u guys are stupid. fuckin landfall is gay as hell and nobody plays it in legacy. this is a fuckin budget version of a tier 1 deck, so u people who barely understand standard can fuck off. sorry im in a bad mood today, but damn noobs. except for brian bell. he knows what he is talking about.

oh and i would take out the oracle. it seems good, it is good, but it doesn't do enough for this deck. possibly the doom blades i suggested earlier, and id also consider foresee. when you aren't getting a key card, foresee will obviously help. its much more card draw and much more solid than the oracle. you will have no trouble getting 4 mana either.
classic standard decks use around 26 lands, but this deck doesn't have to with nothing over 3 mana. 25 is a perfect amount. but most kiln fiend decks do run 4 smoldering spires. i would run 3 and take out one mountain and 2 swamp; youv'e got enough black producing lands to get out a single 1 black mana spell. red is alot more critical here, along with blue. it would help in case you don't draw distortion strike. if you don't draw something like that you're screwed cuz they block, no matter how many lightning bolts or mana leaks you got. one more suggestion is doomblade. could help in destroying their only blocker. i really like this idea though. keep it up. try to make a sideboard. and check out some of my latest decks (page 5). i could use some help too.
really? thats a shame. i would, too, but i threw them out at the store cuz although they were shiny, i was never gonna use them. good thing i didnt wait a second more because as soon as i left the trash can area there was a huge mob. i might have gotten trampled!
nice, 6 rakka mar.
hey man. good job. keep it up. did you consider the new black red land from scars? if you get early wins, they could basically be more badlands. id take out the summit for it so you dont have to worry about the basic lands, and then you could maybe even add more nonbasic like those shadowmoor ones, reflecting pool, and so on.
i like it. wake thrasher is a strange way to go though. not at the tip of my tongue, but i think there is another thing to win even easier with infinite taping stuff.
id make a tournament legal deck if your gonna call it "tournament quality". when you do, ill "like" it.
omg a while ago i made a deck with the exact same name and purpose. it played surrakar spellblade, a good card for this deck. the bone wand i would suggest taking out.
and i think you should probably take out twilight mire for fire-lit thicket, just a thought.
not very insane....
misty rainforest is the only fetch he can use, and no dude, don't add poliferate. what you need is wall of omens and/or birds of paradise. check out this deck im taking to standard soon; it is a bant control. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=100506
you don't need black. In fact, most counter sliver decks i've seen have been white blue and no green either. the cards in black here are not needed, and if i were you, i would just rather a more solid mana base.
although it based on your collection, your going to need to buy some cards if you plan to win any packs at you FNM. check this one out that i made; once I get a few more blight dragons im going to take it to a FNM myself. hopefully it will help you. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=95724
you should probably make the deck colors
you should probably select the deck colors
This is a very well made survival legacy deck. good job, im impressed. ill rate 10
yes but the fact is he has 2 6 mana things he will never get to play
i think your right about the response.. don't add in any of those cards. but i would add 2 more lands, its just, smart. i dont know what to take out, maybe just two of the palladium myr, because however useful, you cant put to much reliance on them (not saying you are) or when they die, and they will, your board position is affected greatly. plus, the two lands will help you to get mana also, obviously, so it doesn't hurt the deck at all, and you still get to keep 2 in. you dont have to, but i think it would work better. unless its a deck with everything under 4 mana, i've never seen a good deck play under 23 lands. it's generally 24-26 for standard. hope this helped. take a look at some of my latest decks if you have the time, just go to my profile and look at the last ones. i made a poison counter one too, and im thinking about taking it to standard soon, so feedback would be appreciated.
i guess id play that knew 2 for a 0/6 wall from scars instead of the steel wall or in addition to.
