First of all, that video was awesome. I agree, that big ass rock has won many games for me so far. I think the best one was when I had 1 golem and his buddies, which I cackling counterparted to make 8 total golems that were 6/6 because of WIld Defiance and then I Soul's Fire'd for 48 damage. Boom.

If you ever want ideas for a non-standard deck, here's my take on the same principle:

Shadow Rift or Distortion Strike would be very nice as well. Unblockable golems are pretty good.

On the same hand, you could use Shelter instead of Gods WIlling. Maybe throw in an elixir of immortality to shuffle your graveyard back into your library. Or maybe Vines of Vastwood for protection and pump. Here's my take on this variant: http://www.mtgvault.com/berndttoast/decks/golem-funzies/

How about Widlsize, +2/+2 and trample and you get to draw a card for each golem you control?

Melira does not work with Devoted Druid. You cannot place -1/-1 counters on your creatures so you cannot pay the cost of the ability to untap it.

I Like Overwhelming Stampede better than overrun, especially if you have one of your guys pumped up real big.

Maybe consider Awakening Zone to get a constant supply of creatures each turn.

How about Wing Splicer and Shape Anew? Shape Anew is Polymorph for artifacts. I also 2nd the Proteus Staff idea. Such a good card and reusable. I also like the ability to take other peoples creatures (if need be) so how about Vedalken Shackles or Treachery? Stormtide Leviathan is also a good add since it stops opponents attackers and makes yours unblockable.

If you want to thin the deck, 2 of my favorite cards to do so are Urza's bauble and Mishra's bauble.

Nice idea. I also have a vintage deck built around the same concept

What about Mikaeus, The Unhallowed for some late game fun?

This is just a casual deck I play with some buddies at work. I do not play in tourneys, I just play to have fun.

I could care less about other creatures really. All I need to do is get 3 instants in my hand along with an unblockable spell and they are pretty neutered at that point (especially if I have the brute force or titan's strength). The main point of this deck is to get 1 or 2 buff creatures out, wait until you get enough instants in your hand to uncork a massive attack and kill your opponent in one fell swoop. A fog effect would be bad, but such is the way of life. I had ponder's in the deck when I first created it, but will consider adding them back in.

Good idea about the Delvers, however, the replicate thing does not work the way you mention. You are only casting the original card, the replicate copies are not cast so they do not buff the creatures. It's similar to the Storm mechanic, the copies are put on the stack but you are not casting them.

Or maybe Prosperity or Wheel and Deal. You need a way to ramp up the draw, since you are relying heavily on artifacts to do that for you.

Notion Thief works really well with Psychosis Crawler. If you can add a couple Psychic Spirals to your deck, you can still mill your opponent and prevent decking yourself. Just a suggestion. Also combos well with Jace's Erasure, which you already have in here.

Maybe a Notion Thief or two. Windfall is also a solid add as is Whispering Madness.

True, any instant speed destruction will be played during their turn with the sundial out. But, it is more of a backup in that case anyways. I love the idea of the cycling lands. I always forget about those in my decks. Added 4x barren moor and 4x polluted mire in the place of 8 swamps. I love the stronghold, but I am not paying $20 for it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Updated by removing the exsanguinates and the essence harvests and adding 4 Avatar of Discords. Wanting to keep this mono-black. Also added 4 Sundial of the Inifinite as a way of countering stuff that could get rid of the orb on my turn, or as a backup to the orb if I don't have one out.
