Generally people post their decks on mtgvvsult in order to elevate them through constructive criticism. I would never post something on this site unless I have some advice or a suggestion. So on that note Tylees, I would suggest you go back to 9th grade english if you want someone to take you seriously. Also, it's obvious that your feeble mind is incapable of finding the numerous threats in this deck. Stop wasting peoples time. On a different note, I agree with candy that Bonehoard might be worth consideration. I think it's the colorless epitome of Filth.

Consider Virulent Swipe and Prey's Vengeance with rebound.

Thanks, Soliton Its a great way to break artifact cards. If you can manage to get KG and Soliton into the grave yard by turn 4 its over. Tome Scour and Hedron Crab make it easy to get lucky with that.

I got the Drowned Catacombs mixxed up with Verdant Catacombs. Thanks for pointing that out. The deck is made to run very reliably during the first three turns. The fetchlands help ensure I keep drawing creatures and spells. My hope is to strip their opening hand and play small vampires that can get damage through.

I took out a few cards and put in vendetta to get early game creature control along with the extraction.

I agree with you. There are way more kill/exile spells than there are protection spells. I would say stick to shape anew blightsteel. I'm sure you realized how easy it is to play him turn 4... Please consider sleep for this deck. My friend ran shape anew and shut me down with a turn 5 sleep and swing with blightsteel almost every single game we played. I really like this deck, great work. Inkmoth nexus and masters call are also good for shape anew. Good luck.

I am cutting the ferromancer and I will definately add more P. Crusaders. Between Inkmoth and the pump spells winning before turn 5 is not really a problem. I should probably main board more skittles for the rare chance that the game makes it to turn 5.

What do you think about contagion clasp and tumble magnets??
Also are there any other red infect creatures that you would consider for this deck?

Yeah, my hope is to out run their flying but if it ever became too problematic i would throw in some gravity wells to level the playing field.

And yes i agree, that is not what i typically aim for, but I used Nissa to get all of my elves out on the field and decided to do the math. Usually I can swing with about 5-6 20/20 trample elves turn 6. It runs a very good race and is my go to deck when facing unknown decks.

Oh lord, I would almost feel bad for playing splinter but I would always savior the look on my opponents face when I hit their land with that. Im getting a playset, never would have thought land extraction was possible! HA thanks for that suggestion!!!

Thanks, I really appreciate the suggestions. I started playing last summer and do not have much access to anything pre-worldwake. Ill have to take a look at splinter and see if i can make the connection.

I had the Slice in there for testing and alibi I was happy to have the artifact destruction I would be just as happy drawing a natty lol. I am going to replace it with naturalize which is much faster. Also, working on getting those last 2 manic vandals (my personal favorite.)

I have actually never had a problem with mana in this deck, between the birds and Garruk. I originally had too many dragons and had to cut that back but I think I found a good balance. Plus the Ancient Stirrings lets me grab a land if I need it.

Thanks again for going out of your way to comment on my deck, I will probably make a few tweaks now.

Standard actually has a lot of good options for land destruction. Look at Liquimetal coating. Make their land (or any perm) an artifact then use naturalize, crush, shatter, etc. Check my land/point destruction deck out.

When I read top decks ( and decks im drawn too) I always see your comments and i actually have learned a lot from you (blunt bastard). I am trying to run a Knight Deck in standard (Plains only.) I would greatly appreciate your advice on how to construct a post-New Phyrxia deck most likely involving pure-steel and equipments. I have the money for what ever and will let you know how it plays at FNM. I know knights wont be the best but it is what i like to run and it is how i like to play. Also as a follower of yours am looking forward to standard extraction ideas you have. I just started this summer (the last 20 years of magic behoove me) but i know what the fuck is up with type 2. Happy belated 420 and Easter. I really hope you will correspond with me as I love learning from experience.

This is my version of the G/W aura deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=129468 its pretty fun to play with. Look into aura gnarlid and canopy cover for kor spiritdancer.

Drop the fliers. Sounds stupid but this deck is typically way too fast to worry about fliers (aka Baneslayer.) I would highly highly suggest Silence and another Hero of Blade-hold or two. White knight should be side boarded and day of judgment is great with two Knight exemplar on the board. Brave the Elements for the win ha. Also, look into equipments like the SOBM, SOFF, and sword of vengeance. I Run This deck and its is very aggressive with the swords of rape. When playing casually I slip Elspeth Tirel and Ajani in for a little bit more variation and fun. Sideboard path to exile for G*&D#$% blightsteel decks.
