I originally had 3 tragic slips in the main, so it is a valid question! I will have to play test with both, and see which ends up working better. thanks for the comment!

I love land destruction decks. I like the RG style, may try something like this.

this is a really neat mill deck. I haven't seen very many UW mills. Seems fairly bad-a!
Hey, if you could, check out my Standard Sorin deck, would love your comments.

I ended up using two liliana's in the sideboard, they really help this deck along actually.

it still needs some help in the sideboard, so any thoughts would be great!

I have an obsession with painter. Love this deck. I also love that I would have to take out a second mortgage to get this deck. haha

Speaking of an obsession, check out my new Sorin influenced deck! The sideboard still needs some help.

leteor1, thanks for the input! Once the deck goes out of standard I will definitely include the sword of F and I. until then though, I am keeping it strictly standard.

completely agree with the dismember theory. can't ever go wrong. i've thought about timely reinforcements as well! I think the others are possibles, but I am trying to make the sideboard an answer to all of my problems. i think I will sideboard 1 sword of feast and famine as well. I am also thinking of Grave Titans and Wurmcoil Engines. Both end up producing tokens for me, so no complaints there!

This is a great deck. I don't like moan of the unhallowed though. I found that out after several tests. If you would, take a look at my variation! This one highlights Mr. Sorin!

Good deck, paying tribute to a PT top 8! Gotta cut the sideboard by two cards though, for it to be legal. Hey, check out this Sorin influenced token deck. I actually need help with the sideboard.

just a thought.. what if you ran some marsh flats as well? for instance, run 3 verdant and 2 or even 3 marshes? If it is even possible to say, it could speed up one of the fastest decks I have ever seen from a sacrificial standpoint.

And although it may not fit your theme exactly, it is because of my deck building mentality. I am bitter, haha, because I believe at any moment your scheme for winning can be foiled, so why not have an entire legion of flying horses sweep the board if all else fails? haha :)

In my experiences of actually having Invincible Hymn in my hand and wanting to play it, I find that it only happens once out of every 15 games. The card isn't worth the trouble if you only have one. Most of the time you already have WAY more life than the card can offer. Also, it is horribly expensive. If you are going to put in a card of shock value like that.. I would recommend Storm Herd. It costs ten, but is always an adequate card, even if your life isn't extremely high.
