I appreciate it, and the evolving was already on it's way out, haha good call.

Tormented soul might be a very good idea, now that you bring it up. I have been VERY paranoid of board clearing, I am going to take a look at that. You are right, as you said, about the mana curve being "not too bad". If I had really made this a complete tournament stomper, I would have cut the mana curve like crazy. It was more meant to be "Sorin's Fun Time Deck", which leads to being a little more expensive.

THANK YOU. Someone agrees on the Bloodlines! I like their flavor, and they are quite effective, especially with Sorin. I really appreciate all your comments, I will definitely see if maybe, just maybe, I can bump this deck into a true tournament contender spot.

add viscera seer to this deck, and then you have the ultimate combo. melira+viscera+murderous redcap=Instant win.

This is a fantastic deck concept. Very absurd combo, can't wait to see someone pull this off in modern. Your approach is dead on, very straightforward. Good build my friend! Excellent.

yes. both of them are VITAL. sorin's emblem is a very unique concept, as stacking emblems can be very powerful. also his +1 ability rocks with bloodline. and finally, his ultimate is just insulting to the other player.

Elspeth is one of the most powerful planeswalkers in the current format. everyone runs tokens, and she makes it worth your while. love her.

Tallyaeon, Look at my other deck then, if this one is so offensive. That one is tournament quality. I apologize for not doing so with this one.

Jayden Cruickshank1, I do not alt-boost with either of these decks. any people who have commented on these decks I do not know. I do not expect front page decks, I don't care. It is awesome that it happened, and quite an honor to have had 2 in a row, but that was coincidence and likely to not ever to happen again.

Looks like I need to make a comment on the top about this deck. I am very confused at the ill will towards me having funny.
(I assume it is the whole timmy vs. spike argument talked about in mtg articles)

leteor1, just meant to be light hearted man. I speak for most of us when I say that we are CONSTANTLY building tournament decks, constantly trying to tweak and experiment. It's nice to just build a fun deck and relax and find some humor in the game! Magic is fun! It isn't always about kicking butt. sometimes it's about remember that when we first started playing, we ALL thought that the dragons were cool, you know? I don't want to lose that fun mentality I used to have.

you know, I think the honest answer to what you have built here is to always put war and peace as the main go to, and switch to the others if needed.

In response to hero of bladehold comments: I believe that it can be said that it is the better card, I do recognize that. However, I always find more value in bloodline keeper. It may just be a personal love for the card, but I tend to like it's flavor better. hero is mean, agressive, and bold, bloodline is cool and collected, then an absolute massacre. and in combo with sorin, much stronger.

On a psychological note, bloodline is not viewed as heavily as a threat in a game as hero is, which keeps him alive a little longer in general. and if kept alive, yea you can remove him right when he is about to transform, but then I will just lay down another I have been holding in my hand for a very long time.

Just to be clear: 1 swamp= 1 mana. 1 dark ritual. (1-1+3=3) another dark ritual (3-1+3=5) It can easily be done on turn one. you just need two dark rituals. I mean, it isn't fool proof, but it is freakin funny.

hahaha sure thing my man, although it is currently on the front page, and honestly the reception astounds me.

Tear this thing apart. I want your honest comments on the deck, not some "great job, looks good" thing if you think something is weak. The only thing I can tell you in advance is that dismember does not read properly in the CMC. it labels it as being a 4 instead of a 3. So my mana curve looks more 4 heavy than it really is. thank you so much!

"Tokens can gain undying, and the ability will trigger if a token is put into a graveyard. However, like all tokens, it can't return to the battlefield and will cease to exist as a state-based action before the ability would go on the stack." -Unfortunately, Kazzong is dead on with this one. Just realized it myself, remembering the old persist days. The ability will trigger like always, but the token is never allowed to come back.

No time warp is not illegal by any means. Time Walk is. But you need LOTS of card drawing. that's the way to get the stuff you need quickly. you need to set up an early defense, a tough wall, and then draw cards. divination, brainstorm, ponder, preordain, whatever! all of them help get you to what you need. then, counter spells to protect your artifact. looks good!
