Great build right here. Knight exemplar is one of the better three mana cards around, I think. I love straight forward decks that don't mess around, and this fits the bill.

I love your deck A LOT my man!! I especially love the use of favorable winds. another very powerful card to take over a game with.

My only concern is that the deck runs a little bit slower than I think it could run. You only have 4 cards in your deck to lay down a turn one or two creature.. and all four are doomed traveler. haha basically your turn two will ALWAYS be playing an enchantment, and then turn three things REALLY get cooking.

The issue is that right now, GW humans and UW humans and Mono green and mono black will already have 3 creatures out by the time you have finally gotten yours. If you could find a way to speed up the deck a little bit in turns 1 and 2, I think you will be golden.

Scapeshift would make for some FUNNY stuff in this deck. not only can you get those lands back with crucible, but then you dump out a crap load of landfall.

neoj01 you do have a turn one loss here, very simple. 1. swamp, dark ritual, immolating. dead. or 2. swamp, lotus petal, immolating. dead. or swamp, dark ritual, trespassing, dead.

The pacts just guarantee a loss. haha

you know, I have done SEVERAL playtests now, and I came to the conclusion that spot control is far more effective than mass removal. Especially if I am going to lose six tokens in the process. Believe me, I did originally!

WOO. I finally got the time to look at this deck. Incredible combo. I always looked at the card and thought "oh torpor orb is just a way to screw over allies".. but now I see it's true potential.

In honor of this deck, I happened to make my own variation for legacy! I would LOVE your input dude, as well as anyone else's!

gotta cut the sideboard by one and the main by three. Maybe remove one rune scarred, and heck.. possibly even griselbrand. he is good, of course, but I think the set you have going is better already.

hey bud don't worry about it! Yea this deck was just for fun. Believe me, I am a hardcore standard guy. this is just a freakin' funny switch up for me. Gotta take the game lightly every once in a while! I appreciate your apology, but no worries at all, no hard feelings at all.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. Crap dude, hate to break it to you...

Gelectrode's ability states that a spell has to be played (which is in today's terms meaning cast) and unfortunately copying a spell is NOT casting a spell. So that untap combo does not work, sadly.

for some reason ALL the test hands I drew were TERRIBLE with tempo. Stupid MTGVAULT. never gives you a truly shuffled hand.

Possibly sphere of the suns? good card to flicker away once it runs out of charge. might be helpful.
