When Yarok was spoiled, at first I misread the card. Then, I came back and reread it. It's insanely powerful, so good it can keep it with Muldrotha on it's power level. So good that it turns jenk cards into bombs and value. So good....you have to build around it. I know everyone's all about this card at the moment, but I really like this card and really wanna build around it. Plus, Muldrotha needs a buddy in value town. So here we go, Yarok's Value Playground, AKA the Eldritch Entry deck. Enjoy!
You ever want to put Panharmonicon on a creature? Bam, here's your Commander. With a copy in the deck for good measure. Yarok is stupidly good, doubling your ETB triggers FOR ANY TRIGGER YOU HAVE WHEN SOMETHING ENTERS THE BATTLEFIELD. Oh yeah baby, Yarok has got your back. Icefall Regent freezes two things, Grave Titan makes 4 zombies, hell Verdurous Gearhulk can make it's an 8/8 trample beast for 5 mana! Yarok is the best wing(thing) in the game, going all on for your creatures to make them even more valuable. You want to turn Duplicant into an exile two creature 6 mana artifact? Yarok has your back. Myr Battlesphere into a terrifying damage dealing machine? Yarok has got you. You want Silumgar to take even more stuff? Yarok brought the chloroform. Yarok is a monster of a Commander, one that kind of speaks for itself. The best part is, that Yarok boosts all of your triggers that happen when a permanent enters the battlefield. Landfall? Yarok is all for helping Tatyova giving you a boost in life and cards. Punishing your opponents for playing lands? Sire of Stagnation and Polluted Bonds have a new best friend. Yarok is a pretty swell....umm...Horror once you get past the looks! In no time at all will you be outvaluing everyone!
