Deck Description

Have you ever wanted a deck with just a bunch of strong cards? Sometimes you just don't feel like coming up with a theme or a crazy combo to build around? Do you like winning but just having better cards? Well, head on down to MULDROTHA'S VALUE CEMETERY, where we have the best deals around! A great commander with excellent graveyard value shenanigans featuring some outstanding cards, without the gimmick combos. MULDOTHA'S VALUE CEMETERY, where death blooms best!

How to Play

Well, it's hard to describe a value deck. The strategy is honestly to win just by having better cards. Muldrotha is one of the best value Commanders out there, with an insane ability that is never bad at any point in the game. On top of that we stack up on plenty of bombshell cards like Grave Titan, Steel Hellkite, Hostage Taker, and so many more to just get the most out of every Muldrotha pull and cast. To make things even harder, we have plenty of artifacts and enchantments that help make every play even bigger, like Pernicious deed activation into Muldrotha pull Imprisoned on the Moon against a Commander that survived, or Seal of Primordium twice to take out a Smothering Tithe or Luminarch Ascension before they become a problem. Stack on some Dredge and self mill to help fuel Muldrotha even more, and you have a list full of cards that always make an impact. Be it an early ramp from Coiling Oracle or a chump block and sacrifice of Sakura-Tribe Elder into the last land we need to cast Ulamog, every card gets you where you need to go. So, how do you win with Muldrotha's Value Cemetery? You out-value everyone else's plays every turn.

Deck discussion for EDH:Muldrotha's Value Cemetery

I've got a friend who plays Muldrotha, and here are some cards I'd never tell him to play because I think they're too good... Constant Mists and Glacial Chasm. He also plays Mystic Remora which is nuts in this deck Also since you have more creatures than artifacts or enchantments you might be better of replacing Sakura-Tribe Elder with Wayfarere's Bauble or Font of Fertility so you can get a creature back and still get more lands. Also you might want to put your counter spells on creatures so you can get them back. There's a handful that do that but the ones with morph are the best in this deck

Fun deck as a whole though, good list

I thought about the counterspells, but find in Commander the ones in the deck are stupidly good. Arcane Denial feeds card advantage and can be very political, Dissallow turns off a lot of problems, and Dissipate's exile is a great way to take something really bad out you don't want potentially coming back. I personally like Sakura-Tribe Elder's chump capabilities, but definitely am reconsidering Wayfarer's Bauble. It's pretty good in this deck, how did I not see that xD.

Yeah that's a good point, you don't want to over-do the synergy and forsake quality. Plus you're running Eternal Witness, which essentially gives you a repeatable counter-spell or any other instant

Instead of Assassin's Trophy, which is good, I suggest Deathsprout which does the same thing but gives you the land.

That only targets a creature, not any permanent... Also compared to Deathsprout I'd argue that Nantuko Vigilante, Skinthinner, Ainok Survivalist, or Silumgar Assassin are better choices

I just wanted some extra removal at instant speed. I looked into Deathsprout, but need the permanent removal over just creature removal. The deck has plenty of value, but is a bit lacking in the control department.
