Angel of Jubilation doesn't stop Diabolic Edict or Liliana or more importantly, Annihilator.

Maybe make room for laboratory maniac? Since it is very easy to mill yourself with this much card draw.
Ah, I just saw the one post saying that there is nothing to stop you from sacrificing due to diabolic edict, preserver prevents that type of effect, say from liliana or edict or celestial flare or annihilator.
Tajuru Preserver prevents spells and abilities you're opponents control from causing you to sacrifice permenants. I know this because I had that and elderscale wurm on the fieild and when my opponent used show and tell I put down elderscale wurm and laughed. Also forgot to mention that I had elvish piper online and used it to throw down archetype of endurance. Good times.
Nyx Fleece over Ajani's mantra? Some pacifisms or arrests over firemane avenger and cradle of vitality?Nyx fleece does what mantra does and gives you a 0/5 blocker. Firemane Avenger is a turn 4 at best, and at turn 4 I feel you should be playing things like Faithmender or well of lost dreams, so throwing in some additional lockdown control over Firemane seems better.
Immortal Servitude over the Minotaur?
Maybe Dissolve over Summoner's Bane? Sure Summoner's Bane gives you another illusion creature, but Dissolve is a hard counter that takes care of anything and allows you to scry. It also costs one less. Also, would anyone mind taking a look at this deck and offering advice/criticism?http://www.mtgvault.com/couch312/decks/hexproof/
Budget....
If you're looking for an original idea in a game like mtg, you're gonna have a bad time.
Robe of Mirrors to make Lord hexproof?
You think the planeswalker isn't complicated, until you start playing and the abilities are all activated at sorcery speed and people start responding to that with instants on the stack, and burn decks start redirecting damage to the planeswalker and then start attacking it seperately from you and other stuff. Nothing is complicated once you know how it's done, but newbies good sir. Newbies.
I built a version of this deck with my own flair, if you would be so kind as to take a look and offer any advice it would be appreciated.http://www.mtgvault.com/couch312/decks/budgetish-elves/
You would be surprised. It's a pay to play hobby. And it's a hobby that you can easily make your money back if you ever want to quit, so investing in some legacy staples isn't the worst thing you could do. I mean, wasteland was a card everyone thought was a waste of space, now they're 100 bucks. Also, there are very few decks that win on turn two, at least any tournament legal decks.
What are your thoughts on Heedless One? The more elves you have the fatter it gets.
Sculptor is mostly to get broodstar or qumolox out faster, since they're kinda the big beatsticks of the deck.
As for the artifact lands, you can usually get the entire set(a play set of each color) for about 20 bucks.
-_-... I was trying too hard, that's what the problem was. This deck is awesome.
I was wondering if you'd be interested in trying to make a budget artifact affinity deck? Everything I try seems to not work out in my favor.
Plus he has overrun as an activated ability that you can cast as many times as you want.
