I honestly don't know, I run legacy affinity. I ran myr retriever when it was standard and it was amazing at the time. I figured it might be a great way to get back overseer or etched if the opponent abrupt decays it or counters etched. Double blue shouldn't be a problem for you if you have 1 blue source and a springleaf. The only reason I mention broodstar is because you're on a budget, as I'm sure you know there are plenty of better options.

I was about to suggest ancient tomb and then remembered this deck is modern and on a budget. What are your thoughts on Myr Retriever?Broodstar does have affinity, so if you have four or five artifacts out (not that difficult in affinity decks) he's not a terrible drop.Spellpierce would make a good sideboard, and possibly ethersworn canonist? Although the canonist kinda breaks the budget.
Steel Overseer is a 2 drop that makes all of your artifact creatures bigger.
Have you thought about safety sphere over Ephara's Enchantment? Since I imagine Stormbreath is your largest threat.
Because budget?
I don't know how useful it is anymore, but I'm a fan of broodstar over myr enforcer and lodestone golem over frogmite.
Did you ever give any thought to bloodgift demon? Your deck would also benefit from one more falkenrath noble and some myr retrievers. Having the option of the combo is nice, and it would allow to get back myr superions or perilous myrs.
Deathrite and Aetherling aren't Planeswalkers.
Sweetness.
Sure, let me know how it works out.:D
Glad I could help.:D
Red and white and no boros charms? I would drop lightning strike for coordinated assault. Triggers two heroics for one red. I'd also either Martial Glory or Furious Resistance over Messenger's Speed. Just my opinions.Oh, and when you get the charms I would drop the nyxborn rollicker and sideboard immortal servitude for them.
I would replace gods willing with brave the elements, but that's just my opinion.
Or interrupt your casting of myr retriever.
http://www.mtgvault.com/couch312/decks/the-legion/This is what I run. Despite the monstrosity that is it's curve it does pretty well.
It would suck if you drew more than one Kiora, take out two kiora's for two more courser?
Here, let me just make sure you don't draw anything useful and then exile your library. No useful cards in hand? All well.
Isn't overkill the whole point of cranial plating?:P
In my opinion I would say;-2 Nylea, You have nothing beefy enough to give trample to.-4 Wasteland Vipers-2 Noble Quarry-2 Trollhide-2 Enlarge-4 Charging Badger, unless you want it because it's a badger with trample.:P-3 Forests, You're running weenie, you don't need more than 20 lands.+4 Setassan Oathsworn, best green hero card in my opinion+4 Kalonian Tusker, double green for a 3/3.+4 Aspect of Hydra, one green that gives +x/x where x is devotion to green+1 Giant Growth+1 Ranger's Guile+1 Mortal's Resolve+4 Elvish Mystic, it's a one drop for an extra mana, allows you to get a turn ahead which is awesome in weenie.
In my opinion, I would say drop gideon for aurelia and ash zealot for firefist striker. Maybe find room for Cavalry Pegasus? Makes all your dudes fly.
