Transguild Promenade is better than unknown shores, you only have to pay 1 once.

Drop 2 plains and add 2 more temple of triumph? Other than that it looks like a good aggro deck.

You're absolutely right, I didn't look at it much, I read control, saw no snapcaster and made the comment. So yes, it was a highly uneducated comment.

No snapcaster in a control deck, already sad.

A deck with 25 one drops and a single aether vial with one charge counter on it will outspeed soooo many opponents.

If you ever take this out of standard, Jace's Erasure would be almost all you need.

In my opinion I would drop thragtusk and phantasmal image for two probes.

Gitaxian Probe, that way you know if it's worth it to play cabal therapy.

Don't get me wrong, I like this deck and I like the combo.
That being said; I also run a combo deck, and the inherent weakness of any combo deck is hand or field disruption.

It seems bad to me to rely on only one creature on the field. Very easy to deal with.

Trash? It really depends on what you're into. If you like Standard and play standard and will never play legacy, then the old cards he had were worthless to him and so he traded them in for some good standard cards.
If you're into legacy and would never play standard, then yes, standard cards are for the most part useless to you and you trade them away for the cards you need.

I for one love it. Red/Green monsters is in the meta right now and I'm glad to see someone with a brew of their own. That and PolyK is in there.

Elvish Piper? Quicksilver Amulet? Azusa, Lost but Seeking? Birds of Paradise? You seem to be missing the ramp and ways of cheating cards onto the field.

Oracle of Bones is actually bad for you, since all of your instants are combat tricks, you want to hold them for just before damage. I would replace Oracle with Rakdos Shred Freak or Rakdos Cackler. I would also replace Nyxborn Rolicker with Thunderous Might.
Or Ash Zealot is another choice over Oracle of Bones.

First; I like Vorel, he's a solid hydra deck choice, I like simic and I like doubling things.
Second; The problem with Vorel is he is a three cost when you should be dropping a domri at that point and his two cost is a good pump, but that's two mana you could just as easily spend on Kiora's Follower or Sylvan, or Mystic, or any of the hydras. If he dropped red I would say yes, but as it stands there are much better things for him to do with the mana.
