ok so I'm really impressed with this deck now I played one that was similar to this last night and did not lose one game mine is a little different : took out-- hunters insight, tezzerets gambit, ichorclaw myr, and unatural predation added-- artful dodge, plague myr, and blight mamba

he has Dungeon Geists in there, if I were to change anything it would probably be to add a sword or two
yes, artful dodge seems like it would be killer in this one card two mana 4 poison counters plus unblockableness
you always make such cool decks. I love hexproofinessness and its even cooler when all your creatures have it too bad it doesn't stop day of judgement

ya, I think you have pretty good control to get to one of your combos and I hadn't thought of the Merrow as a tutor just as a way to get infinate life.
I would go 2 and 2 hellkite and wurmcoil and 4 treasure mage and drop turn to frog for 2 caged sun, thats just me though
you already commented on my only deck, thats why I was looking at your decks. I'm confused about one thing with this deck. what do you plan to do if you don't draw the Heavy Arbalest? it looks like that is the only way to win.
You are right-- I am right, this deck is missing a way to win the game without a huge amount of luck. However I did look at your other deck and it looks very very strong
There is nothin wrong with the Modern banned list, the whole format was made to replace Extended with something more expancive yet not price out new players. that is just what it has done, and the banned list is just there so people have to come up with creative deck ideas instead of rehashing standard of 3 years ago or combining the dominant decks of 2006 and 2008. maybe mental misstep was a little premature but the rest looks spot on to me.
I agree, white is kinda pointless here there is plenty of black creature removal without the need to splash a 3rd color or give your opponent a land.
its actually a pretty common combo, treasure mage /wurmcoil /architect and not that big of an if plus architect helps with the whole rest of the deck too.
This deck is beastly! waaaaaay better than your other deck. I particularly like the 3rd turn one trillion billion life combo with the Judge. I think you might be better off with 4 mana leaks instead of the 2 and 2 negate and essence scatter, but keep em in your sideboard for game 2.

I think I'll add a few posts here to push you up towards the front page, but while I do it I will also make suggestions. Lord of the Unreal is a must have in Illusion heavy decks and that should be your next consideration
I actually like this as it is for its unique diversity, however the opening poster is right you should focus it more is you want it to be more competitive. Mana Leak is probably item number one if you are wanting to run blue control.
I don't see what the problem is with this being on the front page. it is no different than half the other front page decks that made it here beacuse a bunch of morons said a whole bunch of moronic things to eachother
