Deck Description

this deck is designed to win with darksteel reactor. with Darksteel reactor out alone it will take 20 turns to win, so use the energy chambers and coretappers to speed up this process. Use the tutors to get what u need. With doubling season out this becomes extremely easy to accomplish. While u r building up and carrying this out, block with the walls and meekstone(to hold up their creatures) and u should have enough time to carry out the combo.

i really like dthe idea of darksteel reactor and wanted to build the deck, what do u think

If you could add some blue to your deck, you can always use Paradox Haze, adds an extra upkeep to your turn, might speed it up a bit. Maybe some more walls or counters that would allow you to stall?

You could add Silent Arbiter for additional defense and maybe Gilder Bairn, which can double the charge counters (but would be more effective with a blue splash and some way to tap/untap it).

drop Green entirely, in favour of Blue.... Paradox Haze does essentially the same thing as Doubling Season but for less mana. it's a far better card for this deck.

this leaves you with Blue and Black.

these two colours arguably have the best walls. i'd maybe run a few Wall of Tears or Wall of Souls, or go the whole hog and stick Mana Leak and Boomerang in there.

you could do with some acceleration for sure, or perhaps some control/denial. either's good.

but lose the green, lol. there are so many blue cards that have excellent synergy with artifact, it's crazy.

you could even throw a few ornithopter/lotus petal/welding jar/myr enforcer/somber hoverguard in there, if you wanted to speed the whole thing up even more.




the idea is great. just needs some tinkering.

meh, best idea for any deck with a permanant with counters is gilder baren + paradise mantle, for 2 extra mana, as many times as u can spend, jsut keep doubling the counters on anything

If you want to keep green you can try the following: Gilder Bairn + Presence of Gond + Ahsnods Altar. Tap Gilder Bairn with Presence, get token. Sac token to Altar, get 2 mana. Use to untap Gilder Bairn, repeat as long as you have mana left.
