With that many creatures Lurking Predators would be an absolute monster.Corpsejack Menace would be great, too.

No problem. Some other suggestions that are cheap if you're watching your budget. The original Ravnica Karoo lands are great in Derevi, too (Selesnya Sanctum, Azorius Chancery and Simic Growth Chamber. If you use Derevi to untap them they're giving you four mana a turn each. Temple of the False God would kick four colorless a turn when untapped. All should be about a quarter each to pick up.You're running the excellent Basalt Monolith already, but Mana Vault is great when you can untap with Derevi too and it's under a buck. Worn Powerstone and Thran Dynamo would work too, and since both are in the new Commander 2014 decks they'll also be under a dollar in the next few weeks. You could also run Howling Mine for an extra draw per turn. It doesn't work when tapped, so you draw an extra card, tap it when Derevi attacks and nobody else can use it, then untap on your turn and draw an extra card. I myself think there's better ways to get extra draw in a Derevi deck (Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa) but some people swear by it.
When I ran derevi, Dismiss into Dream flat out ended games. Even without derevi out to turn a tap into a kill it prevents equipping, auras, etc but with derevi it empties the field
Since Heliod is gonna be on the field pretty reliably why not run Pariah and/or Pariah's Shield on him to keep yourself from taking damage.Extraplanar Lens would be a nice mana doubler and with all those snow lands other people with white probably wouldn't be able to leech off it since only snow-covered plains would benefit.I personally prefer Prison Term or Darksteel Mutation to Journey to Nowhere, just because Journey lets someone just recast the commander if that's the target, where as Prison Term or DM keeps it stuck to the field being useless.
That's too bad. Combos that take that many pieces are hardly degenerate, and this comes from a guy who isn't a combo fan. If you can assemble that many chunks and nobody responds you deserve to win. It's the "Joira suspending random fattie into Obliterate/Jokulhaups" skill-less nonsense that gives combo a bad name.
Sundering Titan is banned. Nice list otherwise!
Proteus Staff can be really time-consuming and annoying to run too.Have you considered Isochron Scepter? The copy is considered a cast spell so it'll trigger Talrand.
Really solid card. Also I ran Curse of Death's Hold for awhile as anti-token tech, then I tried Illness in the Ranks, then Engineered Plague, and in the end old-school Pestilence wound up being bar-none the best solution. It hits every player unlike Curse of Death's Hold, it can hit more than just tokens unlike Illness in the Ranks, and and it can function as a semi board wipe if you need it to.
When I ran Derevi, Dismiss Into Dream was flat out the best card I had. Anything of theirs you tap gets sacrificed (so it even works on indestructibles) and it has the side benefit of preventing your opponents from enchanting anything, equipping stuff, using targeted buffs or regeneration effects, etc. It's absurdly good.
Caged Sun and Extraplanar Lens work really well in a mono deck as well, and if you run those you may as well throw in an Exsanguinate because with a Lens or Sun or Coffers out that can be a win-con all unto itself. That will jack up the price of the deck nearly 20 bucks though, though, so that may be a dealbreaker.
I'd consider replacing Terror with Go for the Throat, but I see a lot more black stuff I want to hit than I do stuff I want to prevent regeneration. It's not a huge deal either way.Cabal Coffers is amazing in mono-black, so much so that I've started running Thespian's Stage and Vesuva just to copy it if I can.
Future Sight is amazing in a Talrand deck, it can be the equivalent of drawing 3, 4, 5 or more cards a turn. There's been games where I've chained a dozen cards in a row cast off the top of my deck with it. A few mana-doublers like Caged Sun, Extraplanar Lens or Gauntlet of Power wouldn't hurt.An early Quicksilver Fountain can lock people outProteus Staff can tuck a commander, magically turn one of your drakes into a Snapcaster, or when your creatures are gone let you reorder your entire library stacking lands on the bottom and cards on the top (which you can then chain cast with Future Sight).
Oh and if you need one more fight enabler there's always Triangle of War.
Druid's Repository is an absolute monster in Prossh. Attack w/ the tokens before saccing them, add 6 counters to it, etc. Brutal.
Spidersilk Armor would be pretty useful here imo, thought that's probably highly meta-dependant. I have a friend who runs a red/green hydra tribal deck and it's huge for him, but it probably depends on how many fliers you see.
Vesuva would give you a third shot way to copy Cabal Coffers.Pestilence (and to a lesser extent Withing Wisps) are stars in my Drana deck. It's vulnerable to token swarms since she can't easily assassinate them all, and being able to dump one or two mana into a Pestilence and kill every single Prossh or Ghave or Kemba token is invaluable. How well does Temporal Extortion work for you? I could never quite make it happen. Early game when nobody wants to pay 20 life to counter it I wind up spending all my mana I'd use for the turn casting it so the net gain was one extra draw phase and maybe a second attack, and late game when I have mana to take advantage of a second turn someone always paid the life so it wound up being four mana to hit someone for 8 life or whatever since life totals were low. I always expected it to be a bomb, but it was only ever just okay, and half the time time drew it I just wished it was a Murder or Hero's Downfall or something.
I had really good luck with Arena of the Ancients in my Merieke deck. Since my commander doesn't untap it doesn't affect me at all, but it screws everyone else over nicely. I also tend to run Leyline of Singularity to f*ck with token decks anyone, and those two REALLY combo nicely together.
Dismiss into Dream is amazing in Derevi. The best part is it forces a sacrifice so it can vaporize Tajic, Avacyn, Theros gods, etc. Seriously, give it a try, it flat-out wrecks board states. Not to mention it renders enemy equipment and auras worthless and neuters stuff like heroic triggers.
Infiltration Lens is amazing in Odric, because the one thing better than saying "none of your dudes will block" is saying "all your dudes will block my token and I'll draw 16 cards".Crackdown in monowhite can be amazing, it shuts down some decks entirely.
Druid's Repository can get a LOT of mana on it if you're planning on saccing spores anyway and just attack with them first and sacc after blockers are declared or whaever. A friend plays it and when done right you can almost always have enough mana sitting on it for a Ghave recast when needed. It's cheap and fits your bargain theme, too
