I agree that glint hawk would be fun. I still like my other creatures a little more. I think lynx is a little more consistent though. Lynx is good with any of the 8 fetchlands and hawk is only good if i have metalcraft and opal.

Most games you just end up using Stoneforge Mystic to get your good equipments and cheat them out. There is really almost no difference between the three attackers in this deck.

wins consistently by turn 5. And can win turn 3 with a great hand. Thats pretty damn good these days.

I think i have a decklist that works a litte better. only blue is distortion strike. 4 adventuring gear, 4 birds of paradise, 4 misty rainforest, 4 verdant catacombs, darkslick shores, groundswell, giant growth, vines of vastwood, then all cheap costing infect.

That list is a lot faster and kills people real quick. Poison will be tornament playable if there is a infect 1 drop.

i would definitely use maelstrom pulse but i want this deck to be ready for the standard rotation. I agree lotus cobra could be good in this deck as well as harrow. 3 garruks was probably a little excessive, but the jund deck i played with ran three and it seemed like I always had one (a good thing). I will see if I have room for rampaging.

I applaud your changes. Much faster! Still might not be a teir 1 deck, but i think you will find it works better than the other version. I still have a few suggestions however. I personally like blood seeker more than pulse tracker. Usually you will only get to attack with pulse traker one time and then it will die on the next attack. Blood Seeker works much better against aggro decks because he allows you to continually reduce an opponents life total without using any mana needed to play other vamps. I would sideboard 3 Blood Seekers instead of either duress or inquisition. I would also tell you to find a vampire in the four drop spot, but unless there is a four drop vampire in scars (unlikely) there will be no 4 cmc vampires in standard. One last thing you could consider is cutting down your mana to 20 or 21. Everything in your deck is CHEAP, and you will want to keep the vampires flowing. Just a thought.

I like tendrils of corruption more than feeding frenzy. I would side 2 doomblades and 2 disfigure so you can fix your removal depending on the matchup. If you play agains a black deck +2 disfigure -2 doomblade, and vice versa. This deck is also very vulnerable to flying creatures. 2 wisps arent enought air defense. Gloomdrifter or Grotesque Hybrid are cards that you have that could be used. Cards that you could buy are stromgald crusader, and stillmoon cavalier. If you want phylactery lich in your sideboard, you definately need to have 4 of a useful artifact in your sideboard as well (like demon's horn).

i agree with mrgoodbytes. Mind sculptor is good, but he doesnt fit the deck as well as erasure and erasure also doesnt cost 30429$

So what happens when you play an aggro deck? For example vamps. Now your removal is shot and with jace you are helping me to draw into more vampires. Something like jace's erasure would help this deck IMO.

you should have already won if you can play keening stone. take out all four and replace with 2 More Haunting Echoes. Also add Mind Funeral and Glimpse the Unthinkable instead of everflowing chalice and extractor demon. Add 4 Evolving Wilds to go with your hedron crabs or to mana fix. Use Deprive instead of countersquall because it also combos with your crabs. Also you should play either howling mine or jaces to make sure that you can draw enough mill cards.

I dont think vampires will survive the jump... at least not as a teir 1 anyway. Losing nocturnus is back breaking. Also almost every build i have seen of this deck is too top heavy. You will not get the chance to play any of them against a control deck which is very popular right now. To be any good a vampire deck has to be aggro and without a turn 4 win condition i dont see vamps making a comeback.

to make it faster get rid of all fatties and maindeck all 3 copies of malakir bloodwitch. Then add vampire lacerator. Also play 4 Gatekeeper of Malakir cause it is a two for one and is very good with a captivating out. Sideboard duress for matchups against control.

YAY! you fixed it.
Okay... i think this is a pretty solid deck. I give you style points for a pretty original build of this deck. Thay being said i'm not sure it's as good as this deck type can be. If you want to keep destructive force in the deck then I dont think you can afford to keep blue, you would have to throw in white to give access to removal, ajani vengeant, and gideon jura and also throw in Garruk (for ramp). If you want to go more of the control route then you have to drop red and add white for removal and also sun titan. Lastly if you want to go the mana ramp route you have to just drop blue and play valakut and seige-gang and all mana ramp spells. In all cases i would reduce the number of creatures.

Hope i gave you lots to think about

@ digwood "Actually, Leyline of the Void WOULD handle the Graveyard/Reshuffle issue of the Eldrazi. For instance, if Emrakul got milled with LOTV out, it would never hit the graveyard, therefore, no reshuffle."

I stand corrected sir. For some reason i thought they had the same wording as darksteel colossus (if it WOULD be sent to the graveyard...) but they do not. Good catch.
