haha after i commented, i saw that that was a good use, but I'd just rather something else. id love to see how our decks match up (:

hasd to change the name of the deck, due to new changes. Ohwell, I find it's much better now (: bushwhacker.. was hit and miss, and in this deck, there was no time for a blank draw. which is what he provided sometimes.
I think the mana curve is too high, dude. in all seriousness. i'd cut the felidars. that way you'd only have 4 6 drops, and add some equipment of something. even though felidar is sick, there are just better slots. you rarely win with 40 life, and if I were you, i'd rather tune down the curve and add some potential help down the road. i'd take out the grasps for doomblade, because even though they're both 2 mana, doom blade is 1 colorless, as apposed to 2 black, which makes it 10x faster. id bump mana leak to 4, and stoic to 2. mana leak is faster, and if they do have to pay the extra 3, thats 3 mana they cant use that turn. TRUST ME, disfigure is sick. i know it seems weak, but think about all you can take out with it. ive wrecked your and kyle p's golden glow moths, serra ascendants, ajanis pidemate, serji merflok, a lot of creatures in t2 have a low toughness. and for 1 mana, its sick. besides that, looks farely consistant. but what happened to the chalices? : O +2 chalice, +2 basilisk collar? b.c. = more lifelink, and the extra 4 artifacts (in replace of felidar) will help stoic even more (Y) i know you're hard headed and never EVER listen to me, but i'd give these suggestions a try. proxy them and test 'em with me tomorrow. (: grats on the frontpage, dude
AND OHMAN, i just saw who inspired you, thanks dude (: i guess you already checked it out :3
dragon master outcast was a card that I thought about putting in my boros deck (you can check it if you want, i love feedback) but i figured, hey, this is an aggro-at your face-deck. it's not meant to go into turn 6. he is good if you pop him late in the game, but early, i can just see him being a jump blocker or a target for doomblades. if you really like him, and he runs well for you, id sideboard him. if you're going against a slow control/ramp, then he'd fit in perfect. but i found the main problem with my boros running slow, was lack of creatures. if someone clears the board, and then you only have the little guys left, you're in a bad position. just my two cents :3 also, i think 8 equipment is a lot. i dont know how it works for you, but i'd much rather a basilisk collar/sword of body and mind over explorer's scope. hope i felped, xD
got spikeshot elder for that. costs less, and has better potential. sparkmage is sideboarded incase i'm getting swarmed. lol
Fling is good, but i can't see me pumping up geopedes/lynxes enough for it to become useful. assault strobe isnt a bad idea. im starting to question the silences,
Some bigg changes made. comments? (:
whenever I see that you comment, I just let out a subtle "yessss" because you always give such great advice. thanks for the tips, but persecutor deffinitely has to stay, lol. he is my main win condition, believe it or not. when he hits the board, turn 4, i just love the look on my opponent's face. i took out foresee for another grave titan, because usually I'm stalling anyway, so another beatstick couldnt hurt, mana intensive or not. ill see how these changes run, and then debate wether or not to remove a wurmcoil or the sphinxes. and as for the sideboard, spreading seas seems like a waste, here, with the main concern (of the local metagame) being creatures/jace. ratchet bomb is a great idea, thanks (: and sorin markov is great as well. thanks a bunch :3
this deck isnt really posted right now. thinknig up some major changes (: ill comment when it's in its final form ^.^
im trying to keep this standard, but if I ever decide to switch, those would be good suggestions
Haha, suggestions? (:
Out of curiosity, how would you guys see this deck running in a tournament? I've yet to play this deck (what with christmas and all) and I'm really looking to win my local fnm, lol. So, if you guys have any suggestions whatsoever to improve the over-all well being of this deck, please, let me hear 'em! (: I know I need marsh flats/scalding tarns, but they're not really in the budget for this deck atm. But any comments in regards to the sideboard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks :D
ahhhh, makes sense! good thinking (:
Well, seeing how I'm new to magic, and don't really play green all that much, so I don't really know what a lot of these cards (creatures, not spells) are. I am way too lazy to go through every single creature you have, so instead, i'll give you some global advice that was given to me when I started. -Narrow it down. Choose your best creatures, and get multiples of those creatures. The more consitancy in your creatures, the more consitant your deck will be. -WATCH THE CURVE: right off the bat, i see you have 17 cards that cost over 7 to drop. Mana ramp or not, thats almost 1/3 of your deck thats 7+. You will be mana screwed, trust me. With eldrazis you don't need multiples to win. usually, when an emrakul hits the board, that's game. plus, you have fauna shaman. discard a vengvine (which personally, i'd run), then bring an emrakul to your hand. Lotus cobras + fetch lands arent bad either. -always make the deck 60 cards. No more, no less. (you legally can't have less, but you get the point). The more cards you have, the les chances you have of drawing the card you need. I know a lot of players who ignore this completely, and then complain about their deck not being as good as they want it to be. Just cut the cards that aren't doing you well. I.e. ornithropter, elixir of immortality, platinum angel, etc. and finalllly, -sideboard. Every deck, that has ever won a huge tournament, probably had a great sideboard. you need to think ahead of time, "what would I do if I was going against a control deck? An aggro deck? A lockdown?" ask yourself these questions, then make sideboard choices that answer said questions. Sorry I wrote you a novel here, but, I hope I helped (:
Took out the hexmages for the frost titan. Originally, had taken out the flashfreezes, but I'd rather have solid counter against a fast red deck, than to have a planeswalker killer that I should have countered anyways.
just bumped it to 4 silences, lol. any suggestions as to what you'd add in this case, though?
thanks, man! and yeah, that's a good point. They used to be in this deck, but i took them out for sphinxes. I hadnt thought of sideboarding, thanks! (:
at first thought, I had it in there incase I was getting swarmed, but you prove a valid point.. I'll look for replacements.
