The purpose of this deck is to use Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind's effect to burn your opponents' life and creatures to the ground. This deck focuses on using cards like Teferi's Puzzle Box, Mind Moil, and Arjun, the Shifting Flame to cycle your hand back into your deck and redraw it multiple times every turn, in addition to the extra cards that you draw, in order to maximize Niv-Mizzet's damage output, as well as mess up your opponent's strategies.These cards don't just sit in your hand though, there are several cards such as Stronghold Biologist, Stronghold Machinist, and Kozilek, the Great Distortion that allow you to use these extra cards to counter practically everything your opponents' attempt to play.
A few notable combos:(Niv-Mizzet and/or psychosis crawler) + (Gin-Gitaxias, Core Augur) + (Bulwark) = deal 7+ damage each turn and then also deal damage equal to your cards in hand (Niv-Mizzet and/or psychosis crawler) + (Gin-Gitaxias, Core Augur) + (Words of Wind) = pay 7 mana, return 7 permanents every turn(Guile) + (Kozilek, the Great Distortion) = you control everything(Niv-Mizzet) + (Basilisk Collar) = draw cards becomes kill creatures and gain life(Niv-Mizzet and/or Arcanis the Omnipotent) + (Mind Over Matter) + (Library of Leng) = infinite draw/burn(Psychosis Crawler) + (Gin-Gitaxias, Core Augur) + (Sigil of Sleep) = return 7 permanents and deal 7 damage to EACH opponent every turn(Niv-Mizzet and/or psychosis crawler) + (Dream Halls) + (mindmoil and/or Arjun, the Shifting Flame) = ridiculous hand cycling for heaps of damage
