I think Bant Charm and Proteus Staff are winners to get rid of opponent Commanders. Of course, taking control of your opponents Commander is always fun too! =P

Is there any reason why Meddling Mage 's ability wouldn't prevent your opponents from playing their Commander's?
:D Stealing generals is FUN. I suggest checking out Volition Reins for some fun, first time I used it I killed a friends Tezz off before he could combo out, and I've just done generally douchey/fun things with it.
Oh, and Meddling Mage does stop generals as long as it survives. It says they can't cast the named card, so unless their general is a land(???) they can't use it.
