Not too heavy but discard and burn fit into a lot of decks. Also, it cuts down on the "target player sacrifices" crap. So far I have not been aggravated to draw into one. I will keep that in mind as I play it.

I'm digging the new website it has been awhile. Give it a look through and let me know if you have any suggestions. Remember, they must have been printed as a common in at least one set!

Thanks guys!

Man, I haven't been on here since I put this deck up, I like your idea. This deck was a double edged sword. When I win with it is is fast and awesome...when I lose it is bad lol.

...because I want the ability to do more on my first turn. I can only play 1land a turn but I can play as many artifacts as I want. That way instead of laying a land and ending my turn I can lay a land, lay a petal/mox, Play a dark rit and now I have 4 mana first turn and can actually do something other than pass turn. Suppose u think black lotus is a shitty card too...

I would play with negator and sarcomancy (good synergy). Also the drekavak takes away your card advantage...nantuko shade is a must in this type of deck.

I liked reliquary tower because it is harder to get rid of since it is a land...I guess this depends on the meta-game of your area, but more people own items like disenchant and naturalize than cards like wasteland or sinkhole.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but in order to have infine turns you must be able to pay the thopter foundry's ability at least 5 times a turn...and you kill them quickly with disciples or slowly with extra thopters (depending on what you draw)? If this is the case you need to find a way to accelerate your mana at the beginning of the game so you get the lock on turn 3 instead of turn 5 (assuming you lay a land each turn). I would add chrome mox for mana acceleration. Take out mana leak and put arcane denial, take out muddle the mixture and put counterspell ( i see why it works for you...just want to be sure when you get your combo nothing can stop it), take out thirst for knowledge and put impulse, smother is good, but i would run diabolic edict instead. Good idea...I hope you can make it more aggressive

The manlands don't need to own they just need to hit...remember I am attempting to draw most of my deck at once, with crucible out i don't have to be afraid to swing all out with my manlands. Maze will be my most important "blocker"
factory - 2/2 {T}: Target Assembly Worker gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
vault - 2/2
nexus - 1/1 flying {T}: Target Blinkmoth gets +1/+1 until end of turn.
conclave - 2/1 flying
village - 3/3 trample
Arbor - 1/1

Just 1 of each totaled for straight damage is 11 damage...I think they will be able to kill without the need of extra cards to buff them. Thanks for the suggestion though

The same way a regular suicide deck works...really fast with a lot of control at the beginning. Remember, death's shadow is not the only creature I have and he is definitely not the focus of the deck (that is why there are only 2)

lotus petals and chrome moxes still count as mana sources (plus the synergy with small pox is nice)

Why? 5 mana (way too much) to play and I only lose 5 life...infernal contract gets the job done better. Thanks for the suggestion though.

You seem too worried about creatures, you have4 volcanic fallouts, 4 magma sprays, and 2 pyroclasms....take some of them out and add more direct damage like shard volly (who cares about throwing away a land to win, it is not like your going to use it after they are dead anyway). You never know when 3 damage will win you the game as opposed to knowing that doing 2 damage to 1 creature by itself will not win you the game ever...the only thing it can do is keep you from losing (there is a big difference) Good Luck with your standard tourys!

...well the problem with fling is that it deals damage equal to the creatures power...since none of the creatures in this deck have a power of 3 or greater, fling would then turn into an incinerate with a creature sacking condition. So, I think I will keep reckless abandon because it deals 4 damage. As far as my creatures being blocked that would not affect my ability to sacrifice them for reckless abandon.

what is the point of coalition victory? You have no basic lands for the spell to work.

Browse
Enchantment, 2UU (4)
{2}{U}{U}: Look at the top five cards of your library and put one of them into your hand. REMOVE the rest from the game.

Soldevi Digger
Artifact, 2 (2)
{2}: Put the top card of your GRAVEYARD on the bottom of your library.

i don't see "Combo: Browse and Soldevi Digger for infinite cards". I see 4 cards being removed from the game for 4 mana and 1 card from the graveyard being put at the bottom of the library for 2 mana.
If you do this you will remove your deck from the game, not draw infinite cards.

This is not an elf deck...just a deck with elves in it.
