It is, but with the cost of ablaze and the nature of a deck like this you would hope that the game doesn't go long enough to get ablaze out + enough counters to do her big ability.

or the firebrand, quicker + built in reverb
Why use automaton with goblins? He really is for creature types that have no 'lord' character, goblins have 2 different choices for that role that give an additional buff in addition to the +1/+1. Swap em for Goblin King imo.
My favorite part of this deck is the unhinged lands, but its also probably ridiculous in play. Sideboard?
LoL = free > HoN. I played hon in beta and it just felt like a clone, and I was looking for something new and different. The invent of AP gave so much more flexibility to casters/support/etc. sure, I'll teach you to LoL if you teach me to extract without paying a bajillion dollars for expensive rares :)
I didn't start really playing until the onslought block, so a lot of those older sets are somewhat foreign to me. Because of that, I'm personally rooting for the modern idea. Certain old cards just aren't fun to play against.
Grats on 150 man. I'm goin with Valakut, one of the first decks I've taken seriously in person and so fun to execute a shift win. 1. What is your opinion of the new 'modern/overextended' format? 2. What deck do you play most in person? 3. Who would win in a fight, chuck norris or Ethan?
Looks good now, got a couple really nasty hands in test draws. You gonna build this one in person? I'm excited to see the gideon twins, somehow I'm expecting the lawkeeper to be a few bucks at least early on.
rofl, well put.
I like it. And I am starting to feel ya on the harriers, they do have that lockdown potential. Now I gotta throw you another curveball, Gideon's Avenger. Because harrier plays exactly like gideon's lawkeeper, which is tailor made to work with the avenger.
Ya I did miss that mini combo I guess, but you also only run 2 dariens so if you bumped to 2 wardens you could sneak the zealots in for better early aggro. I'm still not a believer in those harriers taking up 4 spots either, but I've been proven wrong a time or three.
Seeing as this deck is getting some attention (grats on front page btw) can somebody explain the idea behind dredge? I guess I don't see the win con of milling yourself, but obviously I'm missing something.
my OCD sense is tingling, you should combine the stink imps so my brain doesn't bleed out a little when I look at your list :P
I love that you went for the rhinos, and the guys are right it does look like it runs really well. I wish I could give it 2 likes, 1 for the build and another for the great name.
Hand of emrakul? if you have eldrazi spawn you can sac 4 of them and instantly have a 7/7 with annhilator 1.
Wow, seems to be a surge of really chaotic huge decks today. First and foremost it isn't wise to run such a large deck size with the variety of cards you have in it, too strung out and not able to pull the cards/combos you really need to win. THEN, I'd just use terramorphic expanses instead of bant panorama, its free land fetch rather than pay 1 for it. And lastly, sol ring is banned in legacy play, but would be legal if this was intended for vintage.
Very nice deck comp. I'm loving the hydras they are putting out, so much flexibility and ramp potential.
Sol ring = banned in legacy, restricted in vintage.
Agree. I actually really like the deck. I've looked it over a few times and I keep coming back to the thought, is warden really worth 4 spots in this deck? I'm thinking Akrasan squire or serra zealot could find a home here by swapping a couple wardens/harriers out. Food for thought, good job on the deck.
Legacy tends to move too fast for planeswalkers in my experiences, or at least in a deck like this.
