How about Holy day in lieu of or in combination with safe passage? I'd also consider Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile for removal options. Personally I'd worry about mana curve, anytime you can't play a single card turn 1 I'd be concerned.

Akrasan squire, serra zealot are good cheap options if you aren't too concerned with the non-knight thing.

And even if you are, Lionheart Maverick is a good 1 drop knight option that with concerted effort can spread vigilance even.

Personally I'd go with 'Them Bones' as an Alice in chains tribute, but hey that's just me.

Another solid tribal build, MTG seems to have a historically weak skeleton selection in comparison to other creature types. Maybe Innistrad will address that.

I love the defense combo idea, but I feel like you aren't quite realizing the potential of this deck. First thought is that you seem very hung up on the Kamigawa big hitters, and while some of them are decent there are much better options. Unless I'm mistaken defense wouldn't count as 'playing from hand' so you wouldn't get the divinity counter bonuses. Then since you have dramatic entrance as another heavy hitter option, you can't target your eldrazi with it, but you could target progenitus with that or defense.

I feel like it's a bit slow too, not considering your big hitters maybe even out the mana curve a bit. Lotus cobras?

I love Lord of the unreal and its interaction with the phantasmals. Another fantastic tribal. If it was me, I'd sprinkle in some white but that's just me being wary of anything mono color anymore.

Is it sad that the best part of my morning so far was seeing a new surewhynot deck?

The Karn deck is pretty lackluster, the shameful promotion is retarded, and surewhynot is going to eat your soul.

I hate seeing these decks because they look so amazingly fun to play, but rely on a few cards that are outside of my stingy price range :(

I challenge you to make an effective extended/legacy budget extract!

What is with all the joke decks being front page lately? Also I don't get how scornful egotist fits the 'lobster' theme.

With all that magic has evolved into, it's refreshing to see something simple that can also be effective.

Does tunneler work with the creature buffs? E.g. you play elf, you groundswell him, you tap tunneler, when it came time for tunneler to resolve he wouldn't be a 2 or less anymore. But all in all a good take on an increasingly common concept.

I still don't understand how this deck is impressing people, it is pretty subpar even as far as BG infect decks go.

Maybe Innistrad will solve this problem with the horror that lurks within

Of course the overpowered-ator gets his own tribal now! Horror's do have some sick potential though. Just a thought, spellskite is a horror and we all know how awesome its ability can be.

Also the curve seems a bit higher than your usual.

Just seems obnoxious that you could stack tons of counters for 3 cost and have it available every turn.

Have you actually played this deck out? Truth be told I've found myself avoiding the 'levelers' because very few of them seem worth spending the mana to upgrade, but you have shown me that there is a decent set of them.

If you could splash red, splinter twin + teacher could get counters out of control. Also Mimic vat perhaps?
