Have you thought about splashing battlecry via Signal Pest and/or Contested Warzone?

I'm thinking about replacing the chalices with Semblance Anvil and Ajani with Indomitable Archangel (mostly because those are the cards I have). How do you think it will fair? Is the mana ramp necessary for this deck?

Thrun seems like a no brainer for this deck.

This isn't new and you're doing it wrong. Throw in Training Grounds and Paradise Mantle (or Utopia Vow if you care to splash greeen) and you can have infinite counters on anything.

Have you considered maybe running Elspeth, Knight-Errant instead of (or included with) Ajani? She gives +3 and flying and eventually makes all your creatures indestructible.

Have you thought about throwing Semblance Anvil in here? Mortar Pod would be good too to sac those Mimic tokens to.

Gilder Bairn + Paradise Mantle seems like a perfect fit for this deck. Find a way to search for artifacts (fabricate) and you can get rid of all those myr cards.

Decimator Web from the new Mirrodin Besieged would be another good kill card in this deck.

Incorrect. You can kick spells that are copied with the sceptor.

I'd take out 4 mountains and throw in 4 Iron Myr. Seems like a solid and cheap ($) deck. I'm gonna try it.

Pacifism and/or Fog > Blightsteel Colossus. Seriously, he won't be ruining any games ever. Also, there's a red card that exiles artifacts now.

Heartstone + Mana Echoes + Sliver Queen = Infinite Slivers

This is almost an exact copy of the the 2006 world champion deck (Makihito Mahara). You could at least give the guy some credit.

Love the deck, but I don't know if I dare emulate it. My friends will throw me out a window if I pull something like this out. Pretty affordable deck to build too, sans the mana drains.

I used Volrath's Shapeshifter in my Phage deck.
