Mother of Runes, my friend is the best 1 drop 1 white mana card...but nice try with that Welfare creature :)
Hokey Pokey is legal, who knew ?!
Honor of the Pure rocks, did knot know it existed. Very cheap mana for such a nice ability!
The Ring...why do so many damn people run that card? What happened to good old Disenchant? I know, it targets creatures too.

Only thing i can think of is some Fog type stuff. Children of Korlis. Poor Children! Sack them! Buys you time, gains life, and prevents damage.

Not sure what to add, you have the counterspells...but I love running Bounce in blue decks. Maybe consider that as a option. Sometimes, rarely, but sometimes making them replay stuff is better tempo then just countering their stuff.

Good luck!

Shrapnel Blast is very nice, for this deck.
Might only own one Coat of Arms...might consider running at least 1 more.
Only 2 black cards in the entire deck? I would remove it, honestly. It is a double mana black card too...very inconsistent being able to play him!
Running white, boy, take advantage of Disenchant!

Good luck!

daeths has a great point with issue of running two different landwalks.

Tried to do right by you bob, because it rocks getting your girlfriend into Magic!

Commented on. I love Evil Presence and Contaminated Ground. Swampwalk is made easy with those two cards! Plus it disrupts opponent's mana.

Victim of Night, why? Something like Go for the Throat will kill more types of creatures.
Swampwalk, by far is easiest walk, with stuff like Evil Presence and Contaminated Ground!
20 lands, my friend, seems really light! Especially considering you are running 6 and 7 mana cards.
Would recommend at least 22 lands.

I have a lockdown deck with Presence and Ground.

Staying Modern? If not, Crop Rotation rocks to get you 5 mana.
Harrow is a Godsend. It will get you two lands of any color.
Birds of Paradise will get you color.
Sylvan Caryatid is solid.
City of Brass is very nice.

I did know there was a black Fog!
Like Lycandros, if i were to recommend cards, it would be some cipher stuff.
Something like Shadow Slice.

Yes, sure, the counter proof deck does count since it does have creatures that can't be targeted.
Commented on both.

Since flash creatures excel at blocking and dying, I might would recommend Sylvok Lifestaff.
Briarpack Alpha rocks in a deck like this.

I don't use Sideboards/play tourneys...so I would have stuff like Abrupt Decay in the main deck. Beast Within is another winner.
Main weakness I seen in the deck, is you lack cards to remove your opponents threats.
Besides that, it shows promise!

I am thinking they are saying the standard environment is boring and sterile. Standard was the strongest in the Urza block. It has the most banned cards, if i am not mistaken. That was when it was the "Wild West." When "creativity" wasn't "squashed." When "crazy blocks" were being printed. Now it is, at least from people who i hear complain about standard, boring and same old same old.

Shadow Slice shows promise. Sword of Light and Shadow, maybe. Vampiric Link. Night's Whisper.
Wraith of God/Damnation. Hatred, though double mana, could be brutal with Shadow.

Maze of Shadow. Land, should be put in there, for sure!

Shadow Lance is a maybe.

Or put in creatures without shadow, and use stuff like Temporal Isolation. Phyrexian Splicer. Dauthi Embrace.
Putting a creature like Vampire Nighthawk in, and giving it shadow would rock.

Good luck!
