I like it, for what it is worth :)
It desperately needs cards that draw though.
Accumulated Knowledge...or something like that.

Turn 1. Play Goblin Guide. 2 damage.
Turn 2. Play Slith Firewalker. Attack with Guide and Firewalker. 3 more damage (and Slith is now a 2/2).
Turn 3. Play Legion Loyalist and Ash Zealot. Attack with all. 7 more damage (and Slith is a 3/3).
Turn 4. Play Furnace of Rath/Fireblast for the 8 damage, and the win.
Or play Hero. Attack with all. 16 more damage, for the win.

I want this deck to pull consistent Turn 5 wins.

Sure. For Glyph/Fling to work, you need for your opponent to attack with a creature. Incite forces your opponent to attack.

Example. He has a 1/1 creature.
You have Wall of Blood in play. You play Incite on his 1/1 creature. He is forced to have to attack me. When he attacks me, I pump up Wall of Blood and then play Glyph/Fling OR Glyph/Consumption on the Wall of Blood. Game over. :)

I do know they went from 6 to 25 dollars.
But yeah, if they reprint Goblin Guide...the Zendikar ones will drop in price.
Not sure when to sale them.

If you have one land and one artifact that produces mana (left after Cataclysm)...Junk Diver might could work. But you are probably right, though.

Was worth suggesting it :)
I do try to help!

My friend quit playing Magic. He mainly collected M15, Worldwake, and Zendikar.
I literally have thousands of Zendikar cards!! Probably most of them EXCEPT the Fetchlands.

You see...he gave me his entire collection. Said he was spending too much money on it. Almost like an addiction, said if he had them out of the house he wouldn't keep spending money on it. He had a Goblin deck, that had 4 Elemental Appeal, 4 Goblin Guides, 4 Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle, 4 Dragonmaster Outcast, 4 Goblin Bushwhacker, 4 Burst Lightning, and 2 or 3 Chain Reaction(s). The deck sucked, if you ask me. Apparently it was his pride and joy. I have to guess, he almost assuredly had Fetchlands and sold them dirt cheap...not knowing what he had. I mean, the shear volume of Zendikar cards that I have...has to mean he had to of opened a few packs that had Fetchlands.

I had NO idea Zendikar cards were considered so rare/uncommon.

So...what is your suggestions about their price? Is they sky the limit? Or are they at a peak?

Junk Diver?
Academy Reactor is iffy...
Myr Servitor is cheesy...but maybe it could keep fetching out copies of itself. But the way he works, you would have to run 3 or 4 copies. However, with Mistmoon Griffin, Angelic Renewal, Adakar Valkyrie...Servitor seems a little forced.

I would up the Dragon to 2 copies.
Might consider the same with Tutor.

Good luck!

Ah, yes, a misunderstanding. I am really clueless sometimes. I know that has to be aggravating.

True story. I had 4 Goblin Guides (got to thinking about them when I was thinking about going back to basics with a mono red haste deck) that I SWORE I sold. I thought I sold them for 4 dollars a piece, last year, for 16 dollars for the playset. However, I got to looking through my cards, and found 3 of them!!! Either I sold 1 of them, or lost one of them. I honestly don't remember. Apparently I must of decided against selling them, last year.

Bottom line. I have 3 Goblin Guides.
I looked up the price, and holy shit!!! They are 25 dollars now!
Here I was, last year, going to sell a playset for 16 dollars!

What gives? Why did they skyrocket?
Is it Modern play? Legacy play?

Better yet...i know you never sell cards...but I am super strapped for cash, these days (stopped working, went back to college...money is extremely tight)...when do I sell them?
Are they going to plummet in price, when they Cycle out of Modern, if so, I need to sell them before that happens, right?
Or if they are a hit in Legacy...do I need to sell them at all? Or will they just keep going higher and higher and higher in price?

I know this, I was sick to my stomach when I seen they are 25 dollars a piece...knowing I almost sold 4 of them for less than that. I would hate, a year from now....realizing they were then 50 dollars a piece...and I sold my last 3 of them for 14 dollars a piece (what they are buying them for, on my online site i go to).

Questions, Viagra.

I thought, could of sworn on anything, that I sold 4 copies of my Goblin Guide...last year, for a measly (I thought it was a damn good price, at the time) 4 dollars a piece. So, I thought I sold a playset for 16 dollars.

However, I was going through my cards today...and found 3 Goblin Guides. I don't know what happened, I am assuming I had the Playset in my hand, and decided against selling them. Or maybe I just sold 1 of them, at that time. I honestly don't remember.

Now, I go see the price and the same Company will buy them for 14 dollars a piece!!! They went up 10 dollars in a year!! Glad to hell that I apparently decided against selling them for 4 dollars a year.

1) Why the increase in price? Goblin Guide is 25 dollars a piece on TCGPlayer! Is it because he is being played Heavy in Modern?
2) I do not play Goblin Guides in my Goblin Deck. So, if I wanted to sell him, when do need to do so?
3) When does Goblin Guide cycle out of Modern, you suggest selling them 3/4 months before they cycle out, right? When is that?
4) Are they being played in Legacy...is that why they have spiked in price? If so...do I ever need to sell them? Will they just keep going up forever?

The Company is offering: 42 dollars cash for 3 of them. Or 53 dollars store credit.

It that Betrays for rage quit!!!
It isn't bad enough that Cataclysm nukes most of their stuff...add insult to injury and steal the stuff they had to sack.

Also...something like Tormod's Crypt + Second Sunrise works very nicely. Or Tormod's Crypt and Planar Birth rocks with this deck.
Tithe and Land Tax could work too.

I love the use of Flagstone, in the deck.
Hell, looking at a lot of the cards you chose, and I love their uses! The Dragon is nice. Monk is sweet.
The mana producing Artifacts is very nice! Opponent will have very little land, but your mana will still be intact. The Spear counting as either/or...is very tricky, and nice!

*********************************************************************************************************************************

Will do something like you do to me...suggest another color.
Black would rock with Cataclysm.
You have stuff that like Bloodghast, Gravedigger, Last Laugh/Sphere of Grace.
Black Market would rock!

*********************************************************************************************************************************

"If you control a permanent with more than one type, you can choose that same permanent for more than one of the choices if you want to. This makes it possible to select an artifact creature as both your artifact and creature, and then select a land and thereby keep only two cards."

So...if you have, let us say, a card that counts for: 1) An artifact 2) Enchantment 3) Land 4) Creature.
Could you sack that one card and let it count for all of them?
Example: Can you sack the Spear and have it count toward both 1) Artifact AND 2) Enchantment?

*********************************************************************************************************************************

Also...phasing, could it fit in here somewhere? Phase out your stuff, play Cataclysm, then phase your stuff back in unharmed?

The more you make sense using white...the more assure I am that other people have made the deck you describe, to death. :) I want to try and keep it black/red. I know, I know, I am stubborn. And the deck will hardly ever win, lol.

Mana ramp is so tricky!

Do not want to use white, if I can get away with it.
Something like Fists of the Anvil is okay...nothing as strong as +7, though.

Yuck, do not like the white card! The tribe card. Righteousness is very nice, though.
I did see About Face though, earlier, when going through the deck.
Thought of About Face/Wall of Junk.
Not to confident in a 3 color deck.
And it takes the extreme budget idea, for the deck, right out the door.

But I can see why people run white/red/black with a deck like this.
