Will look into those cards, for sure. Thanks for giving it to me straight, lol. I still think that 1 out of 100 win would be a pretty one!

Not my cup of tea, but it looks neat! Black and red looks mean together.
http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/11-turn-2-win-no-rares/11 dollar deckNo raresTrying to win, miracle style, on Turn 2. Suggestions welcomed. Feel free to go on there and give it hell, as you do time to time on really flawed decks. :)It is one of those decks, that is deceiving in that what it CAN do...not what it does on a normal basis. What is that, Johnny, right? Where the deck doesn't win but 1 out of 10 games...but when it does when that 1 game, it is a beautiful (or sometimes cheap/cheesy) think to watch. A lot of my decks have been Johnny decks, lately. All or nothing...one win condition...easily disrupted decks. What does that way about where I am at in my life? And my Psychosis? :)Just joking.Example with the deck:Turn 1. Swamp. Dark Ritual. Wall of Blood.Turn 2. Mountain. *Opponent attacks with a creature* You block with Wall of Blood and play: Desperate Ritual. Glyph of Destruction. Fling. 20 damage to your opponent
Okay, Julian123. You asked if you could help with any decks.So...just for you, I haven't even posted the deck to the Public. It is still unlisted/private. I want your advice: http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/11-turn-2-win-no-rares/As you can see, it is trying to Win on Turn 2, with no rares, and cost less than 12 dollars.
I took it out. Made the deck over 10 dollars, which blows...but Wall of Razors seems very nice for the deck.1) It makes Glyph of Destruction have 11 Walls to interact with.2) Gives you early chump blocking/protection.3) Gives Fling/Rite of Consumption 3 more Walls to interact with.4) First strike, 4/1, pretty sure it will destroy 1 or 2 of my opponent's creatures.
Card I am most iffy about is Ragged Veins. Idea is to use it as a Flash card, on my opponent's creature, to make him receive damage (via Glyph/Rite of Consumption/Fling). However, could it be better replaced by pump like:1) Fists of the Anvil? Fists of the Anvil will pump up your wall +4/+0 for more damage! Plus it is 4 less life you have to pay to Wall of Blood.Or could Ragged Veins be better replaced by another Wall like:2) Wall of Razors? Wall of Razors is going to give Glyph of Destruction 4 more Walls to combo with. Plus it is 4 less life you have to pay to Wall of Blood. Thoughts on Ragged Veins and taking it out?
A few little combos, to show you guys how the deck works.Cinder Wall + Glyph of Destruction + Fling = 13 damage to opponent for 4 mana.Cinder Wall+ Glyph of Destruction + Rite of Consumption = 13 damage to opponent and you gain 13 life, for 4 mana. Wall of Blood + Pay 10 life + Glyph of Destruction + Fling = 20 damage to your opponent for 6 mana (possible on Turn 2).Wall of Blood + Pay 10 life + Glyph of Destruction + Rite of Consumption = 20 damage to your opponent and you gain 20 life, for 6 mana. Wall of Razor + Glyph of Destruction + Fling = 14 damage to opponent for 5 mana.Wall of Razor + Glyph of Destruction + Rite of Consumption = 14 damage to your opponent and you gain 14 life, for 5 mana. *********************************************************************************************************************************Swamp + 2 Dark Rituals + Wall of Blood + 10 life + Rite of Consumption = Turn 1, opponent loses 10 life and you gain 10 life. Not likely to happen, but your opponent having 10 life and you having 20 life, before they even get Turn 1, rocks!
Yep, didn't even think about Lotus Petal counting for 2 spells. Nice!
What to take out for it? Or more of a Sideboard card? I could take out Chronatog out of Sideboard and add it.
Yep, Wall of Blossoms is one of the best cards in the deck. Great blocker. Stalls opponent.Draws you a card. Can be used with Druid's Call.Definitely a keeper!
Not to advertise...but a lot of my lock down decks have received a lot of love...for some reason, one of them got passed over, and I think the deck rocks!Anyone mind looking it over? It is a30 dollar mono black, lock down deck. It looks for Lockdown on Turn 4. http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/douchebag-black-lockdown/
And this deck is the result of trying to find all the cards that I could, that do what you just described. Really...I want to try to do it every turn. Haven't tested the deck out...but every turn I want to return one of their cards back to top of their library. By 5th and 6th turn I want to be returning 2 of their cards to the top of their library, every turn. I want to win with m y opponent having little to no cards on the board. Adds injury to insult when you beat them and they don't have anything, on the board, to show for their efforts. Lots of my decks do that lately...
Thanks for looking over the deck! Yeah, this deck can't win them all. Black discard decks would brutalize this deck. That is just the way of Magic. Thank you for the suggestions!!! And this deck would be played in Casual, no Tourneys. All I play is Casual.
I suggested Leyline, already. :)But he came up with a good point...he has Rest in Peace as the combo piece. :)But yeah...Leyline would be another Win Condition, for sure!
Smarty pants!Yeah, I had no idea what would happen. Thanks for answering it.
Boomerang is my favorite bounce card. I usually run 4 Boomerang, in my real life mono blue control deck. No room in this deck because all of the cards bounce the cards back on top of their library, and not their hands.
They are my favorite. Decks that disrupt your opponent.Bounce, counter, prison, lockdown, land destruction. Fun stuff.
Abrupt Decay and Skylasher would do great damage to this deck. That is agreed. May work on it some more, and try to make it stronger against anti-blue decks.
I have a Color Hate Challenge deck. Where I post Decks that hate on specific colors. They are fun! For the guy who really, really hates to lose at Magic, comes the 5 decks. One against each color. So, if he asks his opponent, "What color are you playing? Oh...a green deck, you say?" he can bring out his Anti-Green deck. lol.
Thank you!
