Good call on that!

Defense Grid is something to consider. It makes all of their instant bounce/counter spells cost 3 more to cast! It makes it damn hard to disrupt you. Example. They have to pay 5 mana to play Counterspell against you. You might could take out Multani's Presence for it.

I can add it to my Color Hate Challenge deck. :)

So...what about going back to Capsize? For 6 mana, I am going to bounce a card and get Capsize back in my hand. Yeah...back to Capsize, I believe.

Issues I am iffy with, now:
1) IS there enough Counter Cards now? 8 seems iffy.
2) Void Snare...should I put back in Capsize? Opponent may get stuff out before I get my lock in place...do I need something with Buyback, like Capsize, so I can bounce everything back? Or is Void Snare enough?

In my laziness...and being behind in college...not getting to test this deck.
If anyone would be interested (and with extra time on there hand) to run some Sample runs, that would rock.

Deck is totally illegal now...with Brainstorm. Not sure why it irks me to have an illegal deck, considering most of my decks are Casual anyways. But with that said...Brainstorm isn't broken in this deck. Lotus makes the deck illegal too. And speaking of Lotus Petal, I hate running 2 cards of a card in my decks...but anymore and i risk drawing into a wasted Lotus Petal.

Took out the Chronatog (as most people begged me too).
Took out the Howling Mine/Forbid combo.
Reduced the number of counter spells...which has me worried. But they are the 8 best counters, probably, for this deck.

Indeed...it is looking that way...tinkering with it forever.
I do know, as stated several times...the Forbid/Howling Mine and Chronatog needs to, most likely, be taken out for something else.
I do know that I want to try and keep it mono blue.

As stated above, friend, this is more likely to go off on Turn 4 or Turn 5.
However, it can go off (with a perfect hand and no disruption from opponent = both unlikely) on Turn 3.

The cards in the sideboard, most likely, will be put into the main deck. Already thought about that. Just lots to think about...and lots of suggestions made by everyone.

Maybe try to put in a 1 cmc card somewhere in the deck. Something to do first turn. And, i swiftly looked over the deck, do you not have any draw spells? Black draw spells.

Lots of neat stuff going on...i like the Murder King/Reveler combo. And Gravecrawler is nice in the deck. So...maybe you could get away with no draw spells.
