Check this one out:

What do you get when you play Giant Growth on your opponent's creature?
My Intrepid Hero killing it!

Tell me what you guys think
It is 25 dollars.
Casual.

I think it is a neat idea for a deck. :)

NO worries, I promise.
Will look at it when I get a chance.
Very busy with babysitting and college work.

It is all in good fun, for me.
It may be visceral hate for Possum. :)

Do you like the idea of the deck? At least?
Stall your opponent while you mana ramp pass Sphere/Thorn.

How come women have to bring up the Nazi card?
It happens to me all the time.
Is that just me, or does it happen to every guy?
And I was really trying to call you a man hating Feminist.
"Nazi" was just a word to emphasize just how much of a Feminist you really are. :)

Possum calls me out. Fairly often :)
It worked...because she went and commented on the deck.
She didn't even suggest Fetchlands.

I did think about Defense Grid!
I was afraid, that I would want to play 1) Thorn of Amethyst 2) Sphere of Resistance 3) Defense Grid.
And that would mean Defense Grid would end up costing me 4 mana. Which isn't really too bad. Just felt that trying to run 4 Thorns and 4 Spheres would end up being more efficient.

I will Sideboard it though, thanks for the suggestion.

Or better, friend. Do the reverse.

Make a Sphere of Resistance/Lodestone Golem deck with a lot of Artifacts.
Take out all of the green creatures and Thorn of Amethyst.

Sounds interesting.

Not sure why this one doesn't have more likes.
Looks very fun.

And Ensoul Artifact, what a nice new card Mtg gave us.
I have been bragging on it every since it came out. IT works well with Blinkmoth Nexus too.
And all of the old (not modern) free artifact creatures: Memnite and Phyrexian Walker. And others.

Mind checking out this one?

Yeah. Not that it will ever happen, but, Northy, if you can get out 4 Sphere of Resistances and 4 Thorn of Amethyst in play:

Opponent's noncreature spells will cost them 8 mana extra!
That is 9 mana for 1 Lightning Bolt.
Or 10 mana for 1 Counterspell.
Or 5 mana for 1 Llanowar Elf.

Even 1 Sphere and 1 Thorn in play will slow down the game greatly!
You are talking about your opponent having to pay 3 mana for 1 Lightning Bolt and 4 mana for 1 single Counterspell.

Changed Norin out for Basilisk Collar.
Thanks :)

And obviously, you know what this deck is trying to do.
It probably won't win many games...but the ones that I do win will be very interesting.

Cut myself, cut them double. Heal.
Cut myself more, cut opponent double. Heal.
Cut myself even more, and cut opponent double. Heal.

Question, since you understand the deck and I have not play tested it:
1) Do I kill myself asap.
2) Or do I build up my board, first?

Example: Turn 1. Dark Ritual into a Lurking Evil.
Do I go ahead and take 10 damage?
Or do I wait?
I at least have to get down to 12 life so that Death's Shadow does not die, when he comes into play.

OR
Do I try to play down a Wall of Blood, a Lurking Evil, and a Basilisk Collar while the opponent, himself, does damage to me? And then play down Death's Shadow/pump up Wall of Blood..and Fling/Rite of Consumption?

AND
IF I wait...would something like Swiftfoot Boots be better for Death's Shadow? I mean...play him down when i have 2 or 3 life, and put Boots on him for haste. Or is Basilisk Collar and gaining life better?
